บท 215: Confirmed Feelings

William was silent as he looked back at Gloria.

She blinked her eyes a few times.

The two of them didn't know what to say.

It was awkward.

In the end, William coughed and moved away. He was trying his best to stay calm while his mind was actually screaming, hoping to find the answer for his urgent question that he had stammered not long ago.

"This… sorry, I was only checking to see whether you have woken up or not."

After saying that, William once more felt like smacking his head. Couldn't he pick other more believable excuse? He felt like he was the stupidest person in the entire world right now.

Gloria blinked her eyes a few times then sat down slowly. She was still looking at William but it was hard to see what her expression was in this dark room. "I just woke up. Sorry, did I make you worry?"
