Rozan rubbed his chin. "I'm thinking of changing the outer layer to use bullet proof metal."
"Bullet proof?" Yakov was speechless. "Where do you even get those metals?"
"There's construction site not far from here. I can borrow from there."
Borrow and never returned it back.
In this kind of setting, borrowing those items would mean that they would never return it back anymore. Besides, whether the owner was still alive was also another question. They could only try to use whatever they had to be able to survive.
William nodded. He knew that some construction site did make use of that kind of material because it was stronger. However, they were facing another difficult question now if they wanted to bring the materials here.
"How can we bring the materials here?"
The gangs were still out there, roaming around.
Taking a truck and loaded it with the items didn't sound plausible too. And taking the item one by one would surely take forever. They didn't have enough time to move the items because the hotel might not be able to last that long.
If the hotel could last until all the Xermo died, that would be for the best. But no one was that optimistic.
Rozan scratched the back of his head. "I was thinking that you can possibly know the method to do it."
William and Yakov: "…" they're not magician, ok.
Rubbing his forehead, William chose to inspect the camping bus. It was several meters long and over two meters' height. Probably nearly 3 meters? He was not good at calculation with only observation, so he could only make the estimation.
The inside was quite full. There were several cupboards and also closet. There was also a sofa, table, and chairs where they could sit aside from the driver's seat. At the middle, nearly the back, William saw a small room. It must be the toilet. At the very back of the camping bus, the place was divided into three and each of them could be used to sleep by at least two people.
Well, it was a bit narrow, but fitting in six people to sleep there should be possible based on the construct. In addition, he could see that there was enough space to put a small mattress if someone want to sleep on the floor.
It was not that bad.
"Can this thing work?" William asked.
Rozan nodded. "It's still working and I have filled the fuel not long before this incident. I was only working on to replace some of the outer layer since it's rusting but my work is not done yet."
"If it's working, it's good enough," William replied. He turned to look at Yakov. "We'll need to move the materials in few amount at a time."
Yakov crossed his arms. "You'll get caught by the gang. Do you want to waste your bullets and strength just to fight those small fries?"
"You're going to be my eyes."
"I can't possibly watch the entire area!"
William thought for a moment then looked at Rozan. "Is there any high place nearby? We'll need a place that can possibly cover all the surroundings."
Rozan was stunned. In this residential area, the buildings were mostly around the same height because it was only houses where they would live. Even if there was some that was a bit higher than the others, it was not by much.
"I don't think so?"
"You can use the telephone pole," Yakov joked.
William shook his head. If he stood there, the gang members would have already seen him first. "Do you have a map?"
"Yes, but it's in my house."
"Alright, we'll go back first."
After taking another look at the place, William followed Rozan to return back. Yakov was still grumbling on his way back because he knew that he wouldn't be able to escape his fate of working as William's eyes later.
It was so annoying.
The distance from the garage to Rozan's house was only several meters, so they didn't even take one minute of traveling. When they arrived back at their house, they could hear faint muffled sound of an engine.
William's eyes narrowed. "Are there any gang's member who live nearby?"
"There shouldn't be."
"Yakov."
"On it."
Now that it was time to be serious, Yakov swiftly dashed into the house while keeping his two guns by his side. He silently checked the inside and frowned when he found no one. Where's Gloria?
While Yakov headed inside from the front door, William circled around the house and slowly got close. His eyes were watching for any abnormalities aside from what they have seen in the morning.
Only Rozan was still standing still with stunned expression.
His mind was thinking, 'It seems the youngsters I picked up are all unordinary people?'
