บท 8: A game
It's been six weeks since a new school year has started both Bakugo and Haruka have entered high school but Izuku is getting ready for a different thing.
He wore a white shirt, a black tie with a sleeveless black blazer with black trousers and black leather shoes. He picks up a black briefcase say goodbye to his mom and went out of the house
So what exactly happened is, after Itsuki's death Izuku was pretty depressed he wanted to give up but he doesn't because he thought that not something she would have wanted.
So he asked Mr. Enji that if he could help him get an interview with some support item manufacturing company. Which he gladly agreed so, after two weeks, Enji called him and told him that someone agreed to take an interview.
So Izuku went to give an interview. The people who took the interview were not interested in him anybody could tell by looking at their faces but when Izuku showed them some of his designs and the more they talked the more those guys were impressed by Izuku, so in the end.
"Congratulations. You are hired and it doesn't matter if you don't have a quirk this field wants talented individuals and you are certainly one of them and as long as you are an asset to the company you are a part of us. You will receive the joining letter tomorrow and the day after tomorrow you can come"
No words could describe the amount of happiness he had at that moment at first he also thought that it all will a waste of time but things turn out differently for him in a good way after a long time.
The first thing that he did was told his mom about this and she cried her eyes out of happiness.
He even made a friend online her name is LittleLady (username) so he chatted with her casually he even told her about the things that have happened to him but not something, in particular, that can reveal his identity to her.
So she also told him about herself, told him that her quirk is not compatible with her body so she has to be hospitalized most of the year. So Izuku being a good boy decided to be her online friend and... that's all.
Although they don't have anything to talk about themselves, so they made up a game to test each other skills. This game doesn't have a name, but what you do is one person gives the other one a situation about any kind of scenario related to a fight between heroes and villains this may sound easy but they took it to a higher level. They consider every single thing in it the quirks they have the people in the surrounding where they are fighting the reinforcements the number of heroes and villains is also decided when one gives the situation. It may be a game to kill time but everything is not too far from reality in it, but both of them enjoyed it, especially Izuku because he also was a fanboy.
So now it was almost 11 at night izuku was returning home. He rolled up his sleeves and pull out his shirt he wore a few accessories like a silver chain a watch, ring few other things and I pod in his ears and he doesn't have that stupid smile on his face but a serious look that reflect confidence but that's all the outside insides are still the same but overall he looks like a lady killer, ripped body with few scars on his arms messy hair. People often turn back and take a second look at him most of them were girls but the thing he was most interested in was his phone.
So he got the train back home and was standing cause he got no seat and people were staring glances at him again most of them were girls, he was happy that at least look vise he is handsome and there's no denying it. He took out the phone ignoring all of them and started his chat of the day with LittleLady. She even taught him to curse and to talk back, helping in cancer development so people don't think he is a chump.
Deku-[Hey you there?] He waited for a few seconds before a reply came.
LittleLady-[You are late. I thought you were not coming.]
D-[Sorry. Too much work.]
LL-[Alright, so today's my turn. So you better be ready, I have a hard one for you.]
D-[If you saw it's hard then I should be prepared.]
LL-[OK!!! So your opponent is 'Cementoss' and you can use any amount of resource you want. But you can't secretly assassinate him and you can't take him to such a place where there is no cement you are in the city and you are the first one who is attacking. He is in the middle of the city on a weakened.]
D-[That's a tough one, but I can do it. I will use someone with a long-range quirk and one-shot his. EASY.]
LL-[That's fucked up, and I don't like it. Maybe there is no way that this plan will even work and if you fail you get captures so make a plan that doesn't have any holes in it.]
D-[Chill out. It's a joke.]
LL-[Well you do it or we have to skip this one.]
D-[Guess I have no choice.
First I have to tell you something that very few people know. The area where heroes patrol is not random or just given to them like Just go over there and fuck yourself. They are perfectly calculated and they are dependent on the power and skills of a hero. So if we are talking about Cementoss, then we can be sure about one thing that reinforcement that can help him if he is actually in life-threatening danger will take time.]
LL-[How do you about this information??]
D-[I use to know someone who was more into heroes than I am.]
LL-[So what next?]
D-[First I want to take the other heroes Patrolling that area out of there so people with speed-type quirk will do. I want them to create small disturbances like steal someone's purse or something and they will be in the group of two to buy us more time, not something big or too troublesome to attract a lot of people, then lure them somewhere isolated where the villains will gang up on them and beat them to a bloody pull.]
LL-[Taking out the small fries will be easy and they will not even think twice before rushing after some purse snatcher and if you are quick enough they won't be able to call for backup.]
D-[They don't have to be quick enough because before living them in I will probably cut off the communication of that area by someone's quirk or some signal jammer.]
LL-[What about the people of the area won't they notice the signal jam and if someone does something that you are not prepared for. Then what??]
D-[Nice try. But you should know that all the hero and police-related signal frequencies are different from what the normal public use and once the main fight starts we will cut all the communication.]
LL-[Nice👍🏻 You are smart enough to know that, so you have isolated the target but now comes the hard part.]
D-[Yeah you are right it's hard but still possible so I can do it.
For Cementoss we need someone with a fly quirk and is very agile, then again a simple purse grab and then we have to create a situation where the villain is running away from him and lure him to a place that has a higher concentration and is surrounded by high building
Then half of the people in the crowd will be villains but only a few of them with power-type quirk will attack them. Surely he can take on that many people by himself but then the rest of the villains will take hostages. As many of them as possible and not all of them in one place but like in every shop and street where Cementoss can see them all. So the situation is now a little critical because he can't attack them recklessly.]
LL-[You have restrained him from quick movement, put him under pressure, and if he doesn't act quickly people will get hurt. I think you cornered him a little.]
D-[But the interesting part is this, we will use people with long-range quirk to hit him now.]
LL-[But what if the range you are talking about is not lethal or nothing happens if he gets hit??]
D-[A reasonable point but it's not a big problem we can use guns.]
LL-[Guns???]
D-[Yeah guns. I didn't know why people think guns are useless against most of the quirk, but the truth is not much different because in a one on one standoff guns will lose, and maybe some even say that it's primitive but people disregard the fact that 90% of the quirks are not fast enough to react to an incoming bullet and more than half can't even dodge a bullet. What are the chances of survival if a hero starts monologuing and someone shoots at him?]
LL-[Most of them will die but there are some exceptions.]
D-[At least you get the point and yes there may be some exceptions but in this situation, I didn't think that he is one of those exceptions. But I don't want him to get one shoot because that won't be fun, so they will fire but not at him but near him so that he knew that someone is trying to kill him. So I am sure he will cover himself from the direction of the fire and the moment he takes cover than from the opposite direction someone will shoot him but not anywhere vital.
So now I am sure that he knew that he is surrounded and the moment he gives any opening he can die and then we start killing the hostages.]
LL-[Don't you think that killing is a little extreme, but I get it, he then will have very few moves left. He can't move freely and if he ignores the hostages then the situation is bad as it is and if he tries to protect the hostages he no doubts will leave lots of opening.]
D-[Yes, but the thing is he will leave opening if they start killing hostages because a hero's number one priority is to protect the hostages. So if he somehow fights while covering three sides he can't tell what's going on on his back and then the villains that he trapped will break free and he can't attack recklessly in the direction he can't see. The reason being- hostages.
Even if he somehow keeps up with all this for a few minutes but not more than that, so he will try to call for reinforcements but we already took care of that.]
LL-[So you have now cornered him pretty badly, you have put him on defensive, he can't run, can't call for reinforcement, can't hide. Now he is like a rat in a trap but still, he is standing.]
D-[OH!!! He will be licking the ground pretty soon.]
LL-[Intresting. I am excited to hear how you will give the final blow.]
D-[We are engaging him in close and long-range and here come the mid-rangers and the timing of these people will decide the outcome so now we need destructive quirks like a flame or projectile shooting and if we don't have those we can just replace them with assault rifles. And I am sure now if he shows any kind of opening he would be full of holes in a second and if he won't then we have to make and here come the people who have an explosive type quirk.]
LL-[Like that friend of yours. Now he is pretty much thrashed but by now reinforcements will be on the way because no matter how much you tamper with the communication they will be there but... I saw you have at most a few minutes left.]
D-[Yeah. I know, but that's enough. But there are many ways by which we can deliver the final blow. Maybe we don't even have to come to this point and he is already dead if he is too reckless and if not, surely he would be mentally exhausted and frustrated by now.
He can't do anything while people are being killed and if he is too aggressive he can kill all of the people in the surrounding.]
LL-[That's the most annoying part of being a hero. You can't kill anybody but it makes sense, if heroes also start killing then people will start saying that the difference between a hero and a villain is that heroes can get away with what they do and villains can't.]
D-[So the final blow can be, we can cut the oxygen flow by flame type quirk or fill the whole area with poisonous gas no matter if he can cover himself he still need air after all he is also a human and our men will already be equipped with equipment to staw in that condition and them wait for him to fain.
We can dart him with slow poison or sleeping dart in close range.
A villain can act to be a civilian and will run to him saying 'Save me' and no way in hell he will know that that guy is a villain or a freaked-out civilian so if he uses his brain he should know that he can't just send him somewhere away and the guy should act injured so the moment Cementoss come close to him we can shoot him or poison him or kill him or a suicide bomber
Or blow up the whole area. Technically it will be counted as a defeat
And there are countless ways which we can use to kill him. But the timing and coordination between people will determine how it will turn out. I still have a lot more things about how to beat the shit out of him but I think I have said enough.]
LL-[👏 👏 I think we can say it as your win surely this plan can be used as a base and a lot of things can still be improved but I think you have done well.]
D-[OK. Bye for now, my station is coming. Meet you tomorrow.]
LL-[Bye. Good night.]
And Izuku started got out of the train and started walking towards his home he had a light and happy feeling in his mind, he always had that feeling when he talked with LittleLady because he can talk about anything which he quite liked.
A few days later it was Sunday and he was doing some work in his P.C. and suddenly he got a message from LL so he opens it up and it was a link so he clicked it and it took him to a live broadcast of villains getting captured. So he watched it for a few minutes and then he got a message on his phone. he picked up his phone again it was a message from LL.
LL-[Do you remember the way you told me how you will defeat Cementoss]
D-[Yes] He was having weirds feeling about this now.
LL-[You forget to make an escape route and what to do about the villains that get captured.]
D-[OH! That is what it is about I was about to freak out if you say something else.]
LL-[Yeah, it's been bugging me for quite a lot so I Made one up.]
D-[You had me freaked out for a moment there, so what is it?]
LL-[Watch the video]
When he saw this he was couldn't think of anything. What did she even mean by this line?
So he started to watch, there was nothing unusual about it other than the fact that there are a lot of villains but suddenly one of them tried to run for it some of the officials tried to stop him but somehow he ran up to the police chief who was also there and started crying holding his legs
The moment the police chief saw him he was amazed.
"At sushi?!?! what are you doing here and what's the meaning of all this."
Endeavor who was also there walked up to the chief.
"You know this man?"
"Yes, he is one of the people who work with me. But I never thought that you would ever do something like this." He said with a tone filled with anger.
"NO!!!". Atsushi shouted " They forced me to, I never did it in my free will. I AM INNOCENT!!!"
Both Endeavor and the police chief were confused along with all the people there. So the police chief crouched down.
"Calm down Atsushi, and tell me what happened."
But before Atsushi could speak anything he choked on something and blood started to come out of his eyes, ear, and nose. So everybody got panicked and before Anybody could do anything his body exploded into tiny bits with organs and blood spilling everywhere and this was not just him every villain that they captured the same happened to them.
people started to scream they couldn't do anything and in the middle of all the broadcast was interrupted.
Izuku was also about to throw up not by watching what just happened but how did she know what was about to happen why did she send him this link why now, every kind of thoughts rushed into his mind when his phone beeped again.
Slowly with shaking hands he picked it up and read the message LL sent him.
LL-[Simply, we dispose of them who get captured, and thanks for the assistance, I got to fight with Cementoss, I didn't kill.
