"Did General Yan mention anything to you about the apology gift?" Wang Jingyuan asked. She was at the Crown Prince's residence again, having been invited by Yan Qiuyun to hang out. 

Yan Qiuyun snacked on some fruit. "He told me that you went to find him and that you brought him a gift. If you're still worried, don't be. I'm sure he isn't angry with you."

"I feel better now that I have formally apologized, but I will still feel awkward when I see him just because we have this 'history.' " Wang Jingyuan sighed. "He didn't tell you anything else? I want to know if he liked the robe at least."

Yan Qiuyun propped her hand up on her chin. She remembered how her brother had come to find her and how he had sat down beside her as she read a book.

Right away, she knew something was on his mind. "What's the matter?"

"Miss Wang came to find me," he said.

"What for?"
