บท 137: Battle in the Library (1)

Jonathan felt the current running through his body. He was unable to see a powerful lightning bolt that Clare was condensing in her hand, intending to scorch his eyes. 

Just then, Jonathan felt a numbing pain that made him cry out unexpectedly. His body trembled as he continued screaming. 

When the young woman released him, Jonathan fell to his knees. He tried to see around him, but that was impossible. 

He tried to move things, but without his eyes, that action was useless. 

"No! No! What did you do to me?! You witch!" Jonathan yelled as his hands touched his now bleeding eyes. 

Clare was bleeding heavily as well and did not want to bother responding to him. 

She took a deep breath. Clare shook her head to remove the dizziness that she was feeling due to the heavy blood loss. 

Since she did not know how long she could keep standing, Clare needed to deal with the still yelling man in front of her.
