บท 61: Assault on the Lair (2)

"There you have your prisoner Jonah! He is alive as you wanted," She said cockily, with arms crossed over her chest.

Malcom could only leave his mouth open at the ease with which the girl dealt with that enemy. He wondered if he could have defeated him, but the answer eluded his mind. In another mirror, another battle was about to begin.

Albert faced three women who surrounded him in the cell room. He was looking at them with a smile, as if he was amused. The women looked like the ones that was in charge of cutting his escape routes.

"I suppose there is no point in asking for you to surrender peacefully, is it?" He asked with a grin.

The beast-woman who had attacked him shook her head while the other two smiled at the comment.

"And what if you leave Jonah and join the church, Albert?" One of them questioned.

Albert opened his eyes as if he was tempted, and with a voice full of curiosity, he asked, "How do you know my name?"

"All the members of the Church know you. You are among the most hated by our group. We have a price for your heads. But if you join us, Monsignor will surely accept you!" One of the women answered proudly.

Albert's eyes widened. He released a heavy sigh. "That is tempting. But I will only do it on one condition," he said seriously.

The girls smiled and looked at each other. "Yeah? What is it?"

"Let me chain you... I like that," Albert replied thoughtfully.

The girls smiled, and the female lion, who seemed to be the leader, said, "Good if you can chain us. We will do what you want!"

And Albert arriving in a split second at the back of the lion woman, put his arm on her and said, "It can be fixed!"

The surprised girl looked at him with fear. "That…"

"Come!" However one of her woman agreed.

And the body of the beast woman disappeared from Albert's side, appearing next to her partner.

Albert opened his eyes in surprise and said, "That was amazing!"

The three girls got together and glared at Albert. The lion girl had short orange hair and a very muscular body while her two companions were much slimmer. One had black hair and the other white.

"Well! We will have to kill him! Debora closes the exits!"

The lion girl said, and the white-haired woman recited a quick spell making huge bars close the entrance through which Albert had arrived and a skylight that was in the ceiling.

After that, the lion girl looked at her other partner with black hair and said, "Marcy, increase my power!"

The black-haired girl spread her arms, causing strange flowers to come out of her skin. The spores were sucked up by the lion woman while the sorceress named Debora said, "Invincible body as hard as rock surrounds Lorena's skin and protects her!"

And at that moment, the already tough skin of the lion woman took on an even rougher appearance, and as she breathed in the spores of her other companion, her muscles and magical power also grew.

Albert looked at them in surprise, took it from him, and saw how Lorena the beast woman attacked him while she transformed into a huge lion woman.

Lorena attacked with strength and determination. Albert had to back off on his threat and avoided his blows with precision. The young man did not stop smiling.

Lorena roared loudly and tried to hunt him down, but Albert managed to distance himself with speed. Many blows hit the walls and floors, smashing the granite with each contact.

"You are very strong, but you still lack some speed!" Albert, said still smiling.

Lorena looked at him with hatred. Her face still held the features of a woman, although her huge fangs called for blood. Looking at her companions, Debora said, "Divine mirage full image deceives the illusion eyes!"

As she said that, the beast woman's body shone, and many images of Lorena appeared in all corners of the lair. Albert looked in all directions, and smiling, said, "That can still work!"

And at that moment, all the images of Lorena began to run in all directions, Albert looked at them in surprise. At that moment, one of the claw attacks tried to reach him.

He moved and dodged with speed, only for the lion woman to mingle with the images around him.

Albert smiled and quickly advanced until he caught the original between the images. The woman tried to resist, but Albert's grip was extremely strong, and with speed, he lifted her over his head and threw her across the room, making her fall sharply.

The woman got up, she was not injured. Still, her face showed a fit of huge anger that overflowed, she looked at Albert with hatred and roaring, she rushed at full speed on him, and tried to catch his head with both hands to cut him with her claws.

Still, Albert stopped her without transforming her momentum, taking both of the girls' forearms with his hands.

The touch of the girl's muscles was rough due to the spell of her partner. Her skin and muscles seemed made of stone, but the strength that the young woman generated was not enough to overcome that of Albert, who looked her while grinning.

"You must calm down. If you fight a stronger enemy, you must do better things than attack in front," Albert commented casually.

Lorena got angry at his comment and opened her jaws. She tried to bite Albert's neck, who quickly raised his foot with speed to hit her and make her back a little without releasing her forearms.

The girl seemed to stagger from the impact when the young man told her.

"Biting me would be a terrible mistake," As he said that, Albert looked at her companions and, with a smile, said, "You know there is another problem with your tactic?"

When he said that, he hit the center of Lorena's forehead with his head, her pain was great, and the impact made her have to close her eyes.

Albert, running in the direction of the other two enemies, said, "If you are disabled, your friends are exposed!"

The two girls who saw the man approaching them exchanged a look, and with speed, Debora yelled, "Air bubble!"

Just as she said that an oxygen bubble appeared around her head and Marcy's, who on her chest grew a huge purple flower that released a cloud of spores that enveloped the two women.

Albert stopped on the spot watching the spore cloud.

When he saw it, he said, "How clever, poisonous spores! That's re―"

Before he could finish speaking, Lorena tried to hit Albert's neck with force.
