Xane was confused. He pressed the button over and over but still, nothing happened.

Smith closed in on him and smacked his face with her rifle, sending him to the floor. His face still rich in confusion.

Surprisingly, Smith stood over his body with a rifle pointed at him.

"Oi, what are you doing?" Phoenix called out.

Smith didn't respond. Her right index finger rested dangerously on the trigger.

"There's no need to kill him. What's in his head is valuable." Huntress arrived and said.

"..." Smith was still silent.
