บท 263: "Raise The Barometer"

Zhao Yun kept glaring at Zhao Yang while Lai Jiayi almost fainted right away. 

'This...what's going on??' 

Her face was burning, and sweat already drenched her palms. Her back felt cold and stiff all of a sudden, without reason. 

"B-boss…" Lai Jiayi slowly opened her eyes but then shut it again in a mere second. 

'Waaah! He is a meter away, but his hand is touching my face!!' 

Seeing Lai Jiayi almost passed out, Yaya hurriedly spoke to Zhao Yang, 

"B-boss, let me do that, quack!" The duck wanted to snatch the towel from Zhao Yang, but the man unexpectedly retracted his hand. 

He brushed off the towel and, just like that, finished cleaning that mud on Lai Jiayi's face. 

Yaya's stretched hand paused midair. The duck's lips twitched. 

'So awkward!! Why did you suddenly stop?!' 

"Now it's clean, " Zhao Yang mumbled to himself as he looked at Lai Jiayi and scanned her from head to toe. 

'...her hair…'
