เขียนรีวิวA very early review and my first so apologies if the review is not helpful. The story has alot of potential i have not seen a concept making players gods who interact and fight each other yet making it original and scratching a ich i never knew i had. The writing quality is good and normally we get a chapter a day or the equivalent of though the background seems similar to The Kings Avatar its nice to have a fresh take of a former kiked out pro going into a new game. The main character appears to be smart and powerful and is the first level 3 player in within his subrace making him very powerful amongst his peers this is fine however novels with just a overpowered main character beating everyone from my experience gets boring quickly. introducing rivels who can fight with him on similar levels would be nice like in The Kings Avatar. Warning beneath has major spoilers for The Kings Avatar which is used as a example to make a point. No matter how good Ye Xiu is in The Kings Avatar he cannot easily face guilds alone and his team does have their own setbacks with losses and with pro players the very top of the game can still fight him on similar levels and every victory is hard fought and we even see his slight decline due to age as his physical body cannot keep up with the hand speed of his youth as at the end his hands carnt even hold up the trophy due to the exhaustion from playing flat out. The novel is excellent and please continue writing as i cannot get enough of this novel just a slight warning that powerful characters are fine and a ex pro playing a game should have a edge but he needs a rival who can make him take some sort of loss this could come from other races gods in the novel or even other subraces gods making him lose followers or a few stats. It is just a friendly reminder that overpowered characters who always win lower the tension in a novel just look at the books for Game of Thrones people are always afraid of the next people to die. Also i dont want another novel especially one as good as this in its early stages to suffer from decline due to this. Of course the game in the novel is currently in Beta and i dont know if a reset will happen once the beta test is finished or if they will just keep the game rolling and i am excited to read more. please continue writing this great novel it has great potential.
เปิดเผยสปอยเลอร์I like this story so far it's unique and gives off another experience in reading novels about VR I look forward to more updates. For new people who have doubts just read a couple of chapters and I bet you will be hooked
so, is this dead in the water or ?? last chapter was 9 months ago and unfortunately its interesting enough that i want more
Let me preface this by stating that this review was written after I finished chapter 180. There may be some minor spoilers for readers who haven't reached that chapter. The writing quality is good: Not the greatest, but still passable. The author doesn't make any grammar mistakes and is a native English speaker. However, he also seems a little lazy with his writing. He doesn't flesh out any details and doesn't provide any extra remarks about the terrain or somebody's expressions. He'll say exactly what's going on without any sort of interesting embellishment. After a while, reading gets boring. The updates were rather bad for a moment, but they should be looking better soon. At the moment, he seems to be consistent. The story sucks. Half of the story is obsolete, considering nothing interesting or important happens outside of the game itself. Usually, the hook that 'video game' novels give the readers ties the two worlds together, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. The game world has no importance over the irl world. The game doesn't act as a portal, the abilities the players have don't come to the real world, the main characters disregard the lifelike personalities the NPC's have. The two settings are completely separated- to the point where they make me think the novel would've been better if the author just ignored the entire irl world side of the story and focused more on the pantheon side. Then, there's the game itself. The author seems to focus more on the RPG side of the story, rather than the whole god simulator side, yet he doesn't even do it well. The system is good- easy to follow- but isn't unique compared to other systems that other novels have. We're given a little treat with the whole 'first flame' thing, but the MC doesn't prioritize that at all. Instead, he chooses to disregard any sort of uniqueness that he builds up and chooses to make himself into a generic Thor. We've all seen Thor, we don't want to read about him too. The Hearth idea was awesome. Bring that back! Ultimately, there's no uniqueness found within the plot. The MC is just a dude, not important or noticeable. The idea of being literal gods was interesting, but it isn't the MC's main priority- despite that being what the entire story is about. The character design is horrible, probably among the worst I've ever seen. Despite having a background as a pro gamer, the MC makes a lot of rookie mistakes. He's untrusting, cold, and uncaring about what others think about him. He's not friendly in the slightest, despite being the leader of a guild (pantheon), and mostly disregards anything his followers tell him. As a guild leader, the MC's performance is less than satisfactory, so he only really pulls in defeat after defeat, yet he doesn't seem to care that he's constantly losing. The MC, ultimately, doesn't feel alive. Somehow, he feels more like an NPC than the actual NPCs. His teammates are even less alive. Only Clay and Aeri have any sort of importance, though they only ever seem to show up when it's convenient for the author. Everybody else is just an unimportant background character. I love the NPCs, though. The MC's followers feel like real people- ones that not only have their own personalities and beliefs- but also ones that fit the culture that they've been built around. Unfortunately, they don't get much of a focus, though, because it's awesome to read about them. The world background is awesome, though it isn't anywhere near detailed enough. The novel takes a kingdom-building stance once the beta test ends, but the author doesn't provide any details that explain exactly what sort of progress is made in this way. He only ever tells us what the names of the places are called, not where they are or what they're like. No maps are provided, nor are extra details about the terrain. We kinda have to imagine what we're reading from the ground up considering the lack of details. Basically: Read the book if you feel like skimming. It's good enough in that regard, but skip it if you're hoping for something to take up your time. It'll frustrate you more often than you'll enjoy it. PS: this is a tiny nitpick of mine, but why is the main character's name not based on his pantheon? The idea of a god being named Exile makes me cringe every time I think about it. Camelot has themed names, why not Ragnarok?
I love this book. Easily one of my favorites on the platform. However, for one reason or another, the author seems to keep disappearing. It's been ages since the book has been updated, and since I'm kinda broke right now and can't buy any coins (much less enough to fully catch up) I'm stuck at a gigantic cliffhanger. Antihero, if you see this, I hope you're alright. If it's something with your health, understandable. If you don't have time to write, that's fine. If you're just not interested in completing the story, I'm cool with that. Just let us know. I want to know how things will end, but I I'll never find that out I'd rather be told than waiting around like an idiot for something that will never come.
I like it so far, my only problem is that the mc and his allies KEEP LOSING!! noy I know he not ment to be op but I can literally count the times he's won on 1 hand and I'm almost at chapter 200
this is a great novel but it has just been sitting in my library for the past 5 months and I'd really like to know if it is going to be continued or not, has it been dropped or is this just a break in between two seasons?
ok. I was frustrated with you at first. because I have trust issues with update stability. but I will continue reading again. your book is really truly the best on the platform. and I know you had health issues. but didn't tell anyone.
Very high-quality webnovel, one of three that i have actually enjoyed. The writing quality for Webnovels has always been a make-or-break deal for me, and Anti-hero does pretty well. There are some grammar issues and areas where it seems like he had difficulty articulating the meaning, but I suffer from these problem as well and get stuck on them, spending half an hour fixing it. It’s a perfectly fine trade-off. The story is good, with actual stakes and several real threats. Most of the characters are quite well-developed, with the only exception, in my opinion, being Aeri. She has no real reason to hate Exile. The relevance of a reward from a single quest isn’t worth everything she continually sacrifices in order to minorly inconvenience Exile. Moreover, Kaleidoscope managed to beat Camelot in Mayhem, but seems to be worse than a guild founded by a single pro and some amateurs. How does a pro team lose to a single pro and a bunch of amateurs? Overall, I’d rate it a four and half stars. If you made some edits and fixed a few issues, its easily of publishable quality.
เปิดเผยสปอยเลอร์I love this book so much, just sad that the author has dropped the book, i actually recommend it to anyone who wants to read it, just know that the last chapter was 4 month ago, which was last year
Loved the story so far but can't continue reading as it is too expensive paying so much money to read a novel I like as it just in the end isn't worth it
There are only 2 things that i can say: 1. I love this novel, it is wonderful and one of the best to some extend 2. I hate the author! Bro, if you are planning to drop, or if you are planning to go on a hiatus, just freaking SAY IT! We will understand, but you just keeping silence makes me hate you, even if something is wrong in your life, you could have left a simple message about that. Well that is my opinion take it as you may. My raiting- 2/5
Honestly this is my favorite genres mixed an I genuinely loved this book I can’ wait to see more plz don’t drop‼️‼️
The chapters are turning a bit short where I am and I’m not sure how I feel due to the fact that they were long before I started paying for them I think it would be fine the other way around but not cost effective and off putting to some in this format. However amazing story and can’ t wait to see what happens in the next 100 chapters 😈 ( The 4.8 is because I think the chapters were a little longer however the story is scratching all the right itches :) )
I really enjoyed this and would like to continue this book but not on this app. As it has deleted my Facebook account with my privileged chapters and everything else. those who chose to stay on this app though should read this as you will not be disappointed with this work.
My true honest review Interesting novel and I like it. I like that the mc is not too overpowered although it can frustrating sometimes. However, there are some small points/details that I find ridiculous and disappointing very small details like "gods can drown". I mean it's funny how air or water even exist in the heaven or divine realm and I certainly don't think gods even breathe air.🤣🤣 One of the most disappointing, is the fact that players are supposed to play gods and hence the focus must be the idea of them finding more followers, spreading their religion then fight other gods players for followers etc etc. which mc did in the beginning until he ascended and I unfortunately that where fun ends and it never came back. So personally, I don't like the story development. But I will still continue reading. 😣😣
I really liked the story, a very original idea and very well written, I look forward to reading more, I hope the author continues to write.
