บท 153: Alice Again

"I didn't expect to see you here," Alice sniffed a bit, still holding the door in front of her.

"I came to stay here for a while. I'll be going back soon." Hugo muttered, avoiding her judging gaze.

"Is that all you have to say? I was worried! I even found your friends and called them to ask about you! They only said something about you wanting some time for yourself. What is even wrong with you?!"

Hugo couldn't reply to that. He himself still hadn't found the answer to that question.

"Sorry…" he muttered under his breath, still looking away from Alice.

"Ahhh,"

A long, tired sigh came back as a response and the loud creaking of the door followed after.

"You should be. But I won't stay mad at you. Jus-just make sure to tell me these things too, you know."

Hugo nodded and followed her invitation to enter the house.
