บท 442: Testing Sofia: The Twin of Mr. Balt

After recognizing the man, Sofia could not help but asked herself in silence, 'Just what is Mr. Balt thinking? Of all possible connections, why would he introduce himself as a relative?'

This was rather puzzling. He could have introduced himself as a businessman or an acquaintance. How odd to associate himself as Sofia's relative.

Derek glanced at the man and then to Sofia. For some reason, he could sense that Sofia was rather reluctant. Or perhaps, she was guarded upon seeing the man.

"I will accompany you, Miss Sofia," Derek offered in a whispering voice. He glanced at the man with a distrustful expression on his face. 

Even though the man appeared decent, seeing that Sofia was on guard, Derek thought that this man might not be a good relative.
