After informing Selene about Micaela's background and her true motive in approaching Selene, Alexa left the Anderson Family Mansion.

Selene gave her another task. That task was to keep an eye on Renz and make sure to protect him against Micaela's scheme.

Alexa heaved a deep sigh just thinking about Renz Chou, the heir of the Chou Empire and the CEO of the Star Corp.

He was supposed to marry Selene Anderson but an unfortunate incident happened during their wedding. Selene's grandmother died so they couldn't continue the wedding.

And just today, she heard from Selene that she broke off the engagement between them. Selene was worried that Micaela would grab this opportunity to make a move on Renz.

Renz was very vulnerable right now because of the breakup. He could be easily swayed by Micaela if ever she would approach him. Selene was aware that Micaela was trying to seduce Renz, capturing his heart.
