"You have the wrong demigod." She finally said to them.

"Jasmine, you are being deceived."

She felt betrayed, but she crossed her arms indifferently. "If my mate was a demon, don't you think I would know?"

They exchanged gazes and all agreed with her. He would no longer need to hide his identity from his mate. But what if she was helping him?

Maximus was beside himself in worry after witnessing the deities search the place as though they owned it. "Are you okay?" He asked her when he finally saw her.

She nodded and sat down, not daring to think about her discovery. Alas, she needed to face it.
