บท 89: Chapter 89 Shoko Karyusai

When Kanda had entered Raishin's room, he can see a mature lady and young lady inside there besides Yaya, Lily, and Kyuu-chan.
The mature lady has short violet hair and olive eyes where she wears an eye patch over her right eye. She spots a black choker that has an intricate motif pattern around her neck. She also wears a revealing red kimono that slides off her shoulders which revealing her black bra and her ample bosom. This mature lady can be seen sitting on a chair where besides her, young lady had stood there.
For the young lady, she long, silver hair that is kept in a hime-cut which reaches up to her waist line and her bangs covers her forehead. She can be seen wearing an indigo-colored kimono where she currently standing besides the mature lady and holding Kyuu-chan in her arms.
"Shoko-san, Iori-san, when you had came here?" Asked Raishin as he greets the mature lady and the young lady.
"We had arrived here 30 minutes ago, Raishin-dono. We wanted to meet with Raishin-dono and Yaya but Yaya had said that you will be late so we stay for a while in your room until you had came back. Sorry for our intrusion." Responded the young lady to Raishin as she bows her body slightly.
"It's fine, Irori-san, you can come here anytime as Yaya will spend her time here with Lily so she could treat the guest first in behalf of me." Replied Raishin.
Kanda looks at the young lady which called as Irori before looks at the lady beside her which he could determined as Shoko-san by Raishin.
Sensing Kanda's looks on her, the mature lady say: "Why don't you introduce your friend to us, Raishin-boy?"
(A/N: In anime, Shoko calls Raishin as boy which from 'boya' and not 'shounen'.)
Raishin looks at Kanda and say: "Kanda, let me introduce you to Shoko-san, the one who currently sitting on the chair and Irori-san, the one who stood beside Shoko-san."
After that, Raishin looks at Shoko and Irori while pointing his finger at Kanda and say: "Shoko-san, Irori-san, this is my friend, Kanda. The girl besides Yaya, is Lily, Kanda's partner and the one in Irori-san's arms is Kyuu-chan, Kanda's pet, I guess."
"Nice to meet you, I'm Ichijou Kanda, you can called me Ichijou or Kanda, whatever which one." Greeted Kanda to the newcomers.
"Nice to meet you, Ichijou-dono. I'm Irori and the one beside me is my master, Shoko Karyusai. Thank you for taking care of my little sister, Yaya." Responded Irori to Kanda's greeting after she bows her body slightly.
Shoko can be seen smoking through the smoking pipe before she looks at Kanda and say: "Ichijou-boy, what are you?"
"What do you mean by that, Shoko-san?" Asked Kanda confused to her Shoko's question.
"Don't try to fool my eye, boy. I can see that you hiding something inside your body." Replied Shoko while she looks at Kanda with scrutinised gaze.
She continues: "I also can see that your partner has difference structures from our automaton where she had higher capabilities from my Setsugetsuka Trilogy and might even stronger than my own failure, Oborofuji."
"Is that true, Shoko-san?" Asked Raishin while being shocked to sudden revelation about Lily where Irori also had surprised looks on her face while Yaya, she still act like usual.
"Have ever I had lied, Raishin-boy?" Asked Shoko at Raishin which he shakes his head.
"Then, what I had said is true. Therefore, I'm asking this boy here what is he as he and his partner are too strong compare to majority of the puppeteer and automaton here." Continued Shoko as she looks at Kanda and Lily.
Others are looking at his direction which Kanda shrugged his shoulder and say: "Well, Shoko-san. I don't know what you're talking about but I'm sure that I'm normal just like others...or not. Anyway, I don't mean any harm to your agent in this academy."
"Hoo~You know about our agent here. Is it he had informed you about his identity?" Asked Shoko while taking a smoke from her smoking pipe.
"Not at all, I had deduced him as that due to his slight difference in behaviour compare to other students. He looks just like me where I had entered this academy for personal interests. I can see his excessive emotion towards Magnus which I can assure that he had something that he need to do in thos academy." Replied Kanda to Shoko.
"If you're already know about my identity, why you still be friend with me, Kanda?" Raishin talked to Kanda.
"Well, it's fine to see someone interesting like you, Raishin. I have a good laugh in this academy especially with your interaction with Yaya and Risette. Moreover, I can see that you have 'good guy' vibes on you so I can sure that you will be a magnet for any type of accidents that might be happened later." Replied Kanda as he raises his hand while shrugging his shoulder.
"So, you're saying that I'm a walking disaster, Kanda." Commented Raishin as he crosses his arms.
"For others, you're a walking disaster but for me, you're my experience pot in this academy." Replied Kanda.
"Damn you, Kanda." Cursed Raishin.
"Hahahaha..." Laughed Kanda at his curse before he looks at Shoko: "Anyway, I'm just a normal classmate that you can see around, Shoko-san."
Shoko inhales for several times from her smoking pipe before she looks at Kanda and say: "...Fine, I will leave it like that. I hope that you could give some support to my boy later if he had some difficulty later."
"Alright but I will only help him if he really couldn't do anything. If not, I will let him suffer for a little to realise him for any of his weaknesses." Responded Kanda to Shoko.
"It's fair enough." Replied Shoko.
After that, Raishin talked with Shoko for what her purpose to meet him which she said that Japanese Army also had interested with the "Cannibal Candy" cases which she ordered him to investigate carefully about that before reported back at her later.
Raishin had told her the current situation about the case which he told about the Charlotte's where she had been falsely arrested by. He told her about Kanda's and his deduction about Charlotte's accident which they will try to make some moves tomorrow to prove her innocence.
Shoko listened to Raishin's report as she smoking before looks at Raishin and say: "Boy, I will allow you to make this investigation but I need you to remember that your partner, Yaya, is not invincible like this Ichijou-boy's partner here. Although she is stronger that other automatons here, she still has same built-in like others so I need you to remind about that."
"Yes, Shoko-san. I will remember it." Replied Raishin while nods his head firmly.
"That's good and now, I will excuse myself and we will meet again later for the next report, boy. Let's go, Irori." Shoko nods her head before raises from her seat and starting to go out from the room.
"Yes, Shoko-sama." Replied Irori respectfully while following behind Shoko after giving back Kyuu-chan at Lily.
As Shoko had passed the door, she turns her body and looks at Kanda before she say: "Ichijou-boy, I hope that we could meet again but at my place later which you can ask your spies for my place's location."
Kanda looks at Shoko's direction too before he smiles a little and say: "I don't think that Raven and her team had been found by you, Shoko-san. If you're already had noticed them, why don't you report them to your affiliation?"
"I don't see a reason to report them where it's my affiliation's fault for not noticing their presence at our own base." Replied Shoko nonchalantly.
"Hahahahaha...you're a good person, Shoko-san. I couldn't wait for our next meeting." Responded Kanda as he laughing.
"I'm not a good person, Ichijou-boy, but I don't want to argue about that. Anyway, good night and good luck on your investigation." Replied Shoko as she shakes her head slightly before she said her farewell.
"Good night, Raishin-dono, Ichijou-dono. We will leave right now." Irori said that to the boys as she bowing her body slightly.
"Good night then, Shoko-san, Irori-san." Replied Kanda and Raishin to their guest.
After Shoko and Irori had gone from the room, Raishin looks at Kanda and say: "I don't think that you're the same like me, Kanda, become an agent in this academy. What is your affiliation, Kanda?"
"Although I had became undercover in this academy, I haven't served any affiliation, Raishin, and my admission to this academy is to complete some of my missions where its need my presence in this Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machineart." Replied Kanda at him.
"What is your mission, Kanda, if you could tell me?" Asked Raishin as he sitting on his bed.
"I couldn't say all of my mission at you, Raishin but getting the title of Wiseman is one of my missions." Answered Kanda.
"I see...well, I couldn't do anything on that as that title can be belonged to anyone but I will not holding back if we had been decided to fight each other during the "Walpurgis Night". Commented Raishin after listened to Kanda's answer.
"Fine, we can do that but I can assure you that you cannot rival me and Lily with your current strength, Raishin." Responded Kanda.
"We will see about that, Kanda. Anyway, let's rest for now as we have our own mission tomorrow and I hope that we in the same side in this mission, Kanda." Replied Raishin before he looks at Kanda at the end of his words.
"Of course, Raishin. Don't worry about that as I also want Charlotte to be free from the wrongdoing that she didn't do." Replied Kanda at Raishin before he getting out from the room and going to his own room while being followed by Lily and Kyuu-chan.
