บท 25: Second Round

It was a standoff between evil and good.
One of pure black and one of pure gold.
One who has nothing to withstand on and one who has to withstand everything.
They were glaring at each other and ready for combat anytime, yet nobody is moving.
"What is this?! A Cheat! A Cheat!" Shigaraki said with irritation in his voice. Sunshine looked at him and he felt chills he never felt before.
Sunshine moved faster than anyone it's as if he teleported. Shigaraki was surprised he was in front of him and ready to deliver a devastating punch of pure heat.
Kurogiri the black mist intervened but Sunshine did something out of proportion.
The fist that he swung to them with just pure strength suddenly has a heat that will evaporate even their bones.
It reached Kurogiri as his metal neck brace got damaged and started to melt but it was enough to save Shigaraki.
Sunshine was walking to them and suddenly Nomu jumped on him. He grabbed Nomu's head and slammed it to the ground.
"He is impact resistant! No matter what he will get up!" Shigaraki boasted as he can feel the heat even though they were pretty far away. The heat started making the landscape change as it was making the ground crisp and somehow you can see the dust floating in the air.
/I see\
That was all he said and he burned the eviscerated Nomu with his heat after that, he started walking again.
Nomu jumped on him and he got hit. It was not huge damage but he can heal it.
/It regenerated. Time to get serious after all\
Sunshine pointed to the sky unlike the sun that Izuku made this was ten times bigger and everyone can feel the pressure dawning on them, especially the villains.
No power is invincible as it was clear that some of Izuku's skin is starting to tear and repair.
The Nomu started running at him and he threw the sun out. It pushed Nomu to the water and was barely able to survive. Its only remaining part is its head and it was slow at regenerating.
Sunshine made another one to make it disappear but in the corner of his eyes, he saw someone.
"Izuku!!" It was Momo along with Ochako and Tsu.
Momo's Point of View
It was a devastating attack that swallowed the whole pond inside the training ground even just walking through that battlefield was impossible.
'I made a somehow shoe fire-resistant but it was still burning. I will have to improve on this.'
Izuku was winning but she feels something was off. She saw his expression it was not the Izuku she loves; it was something else.
'This is his quirk.'
Izuku told her one time that his quirk has somehow a personality and this is it.
'He was clearly winning but his body is paying the price.'
She remembered what he said and the job entrusted to her. She ran without any regard for her safety.
She saw Ochako and Tsu at her side.
'They have the same idea. We have to stop him.'
He is going to die at this rate.
With all of my heart I shouted his name.
"IZUKU!" He glanced at her way and the eyes given to her were as if he was looking at a background picture. She felt nothing.
"Do not give up, Momo!" Ochako said and she flew towards him but she stopped.
It seems the air around him is starting to rise as well. Ochako needs to breathe when using her quirk and this is preventing her from doing so.
Tsu covered for her and jumped towards the battlefield with Momo following them.
"Please come back!" Momo shouted with everything she's got.
"Izuku! Please!" Ochako's voice was vibrating.
Tsu threw something at Izuku and it was a ballpen that Izuku lent to her.
He picked it up and he held his head like he had a headache.
After a few moments, the Nomu regenerated and went back to fight Izuku.
They distracted him too much and it got taken advantage of.
Nomu jumped and ran towards Izuku with a huge force and was aiming a lethal punch targeted at his head.
Izuku's Point of View
I was unconscious and in the space where I fought Sunshine. I can't move. It was an uncomfortable feeling and he watched the fight outside using the screen that was huge as the cinema.
It was a one-sided beat down but his body is deteriorating. He can just watch as he was unable to do anything.
On the screen, he saw the girls that were calling out his name. They were getting hurt by the power of the Sunshine.
'My heart hurts and they shouted their hearts out. I have to do something!'
Slowly he can move his finger, hand, arms and finally his whole body.
"Sunshine! This is my fight!" He shouted.
/You lost\
"I did but I have to win nonetheless." He can hear the thoughts of Sunshine.
/You do not have any power left\ Sunshine stated the obvious if it did not interfere, Izuku might be dead right now.
"I do not but I still have to win." He walked through the screen and touched it. He can feel something is sucking him in.
/Win? With that condition? \ He can feel that Sunshine was not insulting him but rather a curious question.
"I have to win with my own hands but it seems I can't but someday I will." The suction force was getting slow.
/Win? What is your definition of winning? \ He saw Sunshine picked up the pen that has an All Might design. He lent it to Tsu.
'She always has it.' Izuku felt warm in his heart.
"To become a hero and to live my life along with them. That is my win" Izuku does not hear any response from Sunshine.
"If I keep using Sunshine, I will die an early death. I do not mind that but I have someone to live for. They will be sad if I die and I cannot let them be that way." Memories of the girls are flooding in and he felt regaining his strength.
/I see your resolve. Prove it to me\ Sunshine sent his thoughts out.
"I will."
Izuku walked past the giant screen and a blinding light was in front of him.
He is seeing Nomu getting closer but he was unnaturally calm. He knows who can help him now.
/Rhit-\
"ta"
An axe of huge proportion was coming at an insane speed.
He caught it with one hand and tremors were made. Nomu fell down its fist was inches from his face.
He can feel that Sunshine was going through Rhitta.
It was sucking out the extra heat. He never felt so comfortable and while the Sunshine might get weaker it does not matter.
This battle can be resolved with pure strength and he has a weapon that can dish out the power of the Sun.
"Thank you for responding, Rhitta." As if to answer his thanks, Rhitta glowed.
"Let's go, partner!" He dashed through Nomu and cleaved it with Rhitta.
He made sure a proportional heat was there so it will slow down on its regeneration.
It will be a hard fight. He is at a disadvantage right now. He felt that fighting Nomu was fighting like an unstoppable machine. No matter what happens it stands up if it was Sunshine, he will just throw a colossal sun to completely destroy it while he was thinking of it the entrance of the training ground was opened.
A man walked through it.
This man was known to smile in front of danger yet right now, he was not smiling.
Righteous anger can be felt.
"No fear. For I am here."
It was All Might.
