บท 263: She Can't Suffer Anymore

"He's from that family?" Jonathan laughed. "I thought I've seen those blue eyes somewhere… Why him?" Jonathan rubbed his forehead. "His grandfather insulted me in front of everyone once… I for one was laughing as his throne room burned…" Jonathan sighed.

He used to feel good that the monarchy fell and the last king was executed by the resistance. He thought that family ended.

"Sire, you helped Volkonsky save his grandsons when they were kidnapped via sea? The boy who helped them back then was Jeremy Fitzgerald and…"

"Ah!" Jonathan remembered everything now. He made some deal with Volkonsky to save his grandsons but they were a little late that resulted in the death of Volkonsky's eldest grandson. 

Even he was not pleased with that outcome.

He investigated and found out that there are a lot of powerful forces behind that kidnapping and since he was not very keen on helping Volkonsky, he decided not to poke the hornet's nest.
