บท 471: Her Grievances

The sky never changed despite Malik's current state. He was out cold, lying in bed. The stench of his blood still lingered in the air. 

This incident happened so fast that it left everyone shocked. There was a heavy sense of gloom and anxiety hanging in the air around the palace. 

A suffocating silence had fallen on them. Out of all the people who witnessed the Lord's self-destruction, Maimuna was the sanest.

She needed to pay attention to find a quick solution. Unfortunately, the natural poison in Malik's system could not be cured by the ordinary antidotes they were familiar with. 

Additionally, they couldn't go out asking around for antidotes. With the rebellion hanging over their heads, Maimuna's pregnancy, and Malik's state, they needed to keep it a secret. 

This was not only an inconvenience but also quite worrying. Albeit all the gloom that fell on them, something proved to be a blessing in disguise.
