บท 165: Under the moonlight

The two lay side by side, trying to catch their breath. Lily was feeling nostalgic. she couldn't help but reminisce about all the beautiful moments she had with her family.

She had once assumed that she would always have them with her. Every minute she had spent with them felt ordinary before.

Now that she has been uprooted from her routine, she realized how special it was. Her brother would always accompany her whenever she wished to gaze at the stars.

If not for anything, she liked to imagine herself as one of them. The untouchable beam of light gave hope in the darkness.

She wanted to be like the stars, twinkling and winking at those beneath her. Her purpose would be to light their world without losing her shine.

She wanted to be so near yet so far away from those she didn't love. Her nature was simple. Her family was her treasure. Aside from them, the rest of the people were just there.
