He was glowing in the warm yellow light of fire. Though this whole mansion was advance in technology and had everything available on one click, I was glad he had a fire place. The shadow of his eyelashes on his cheeks was making my stomach churn and the way his chiseled jaw was looking under the only light that was coming from the fireplace made me look at him in awe. His jaw looked sharper and his eyelashes looked longer. I tried but couldn't look away from him.
“I told you about my high school sweetheart, didn’t I?” He spoke after a while. I shook my head to focus on his words, not on his face.
“Just that she left you after an argument.” I said honestly.
