บท 108: Second Match

Velnarra looked over at the pair of younglings again with a curious gaze. Her little fire pit was much more lively and cheerful as she ate her medium bowl of roasted oats cooked with cream and honey, topped with fresh fruit. Most of the time when Velnarra gave Ember this type of lighter dish, especially before she would go onto any hard training or these match days, she would lightly pout.

On the contrary, Noxtis, the youngling she had come to like a lot since being introduced to him was the one who was much more out of place than normal. First, when the two had arrived, Noxtis seemed to be walking much more gingerly than usual. She had even caught the feline youngling rubbing his hips whilst eating his own bowl of roasted oats.

Looking over at her husband, Velnarra gave 'that' look to Wurino as if asking. 'Do you know what's going on with our babies? Something is off between the two of them.'
