บท 26: Chapter 25:Are all SMBs this extravagant?
He looked at all the cars but only one car caught his attention.
It was the Ford Raptor 2020 model. It was a wonderful truck but the price made his heart ache.
"1,400,000 pesos"
"Hello sir! I see you have good eyes! This is one of the baddest trucks from three years ago."
"Although it was made three years ago, it can still combat the trucks that we have right now."
"It was originally priced at 2 million pesos but since 3 years have passed, we are selling it at only 1,400,000 pesos" the salesman said.
'Orange eyes... An SMB! They can easily aquire money. I can get an early raise if I can sell this car to this man!' The salesman thought to himself as his eyes shined.
'I like it.' Shin thought. If he bought this car then almost half of his crystals would be spent. But he knew how easily he could accumulate that much. Especially since he has his innate ability: Purple God eyes.
"Alright I'll take it." Shin said after a bit of thought.
"That's great!" The salesman said.
"But I don't have cash with me. Would Crystal Stones be okay?" Shin said, worried that he wouldn't be able to buy the car.
'Dammit. I should have exchanged all of my Crystal Stones...' Shin thought as he sighed with regret.
"Of course!" The salesman said.
After signing the contract and everything that was required to buy the car, Shin looked at the man and said,
"I'll get my bag. I left them at that store in front of us."
The salesman felt cold sweat as his face turned sour.
"You're not gonna bail are you?..." He asked politely.
Shin laughed but he couldn't really blame the man if he was suspicious. A deal of almost 1 and a half million was pretty big. He would most probably be a laughing stock if he was scammed.
"Then you can wait at the entrance of the store?" Shin suggested.
"That would be great!" The salesman agreed.
Shin entered the store while the salesman waited at the entrance.
Shin bought a bag and then paid for it. He went into the restroom and then took out 170 pieces of Crystal Stones. He put them into the bag and then went towards the salesman.
The salesman looked at the bag and then he smiled in delight.
He nodded and lead Shin towards their store.
"Inside this bag are 170 crystal stone pieces. Their size varies so you might want to weigh them first."
The salesman nodded.
"And if there are extra Crystal Stones, use them for the remaining things that need to be handled when owning a car."
"Well, I'm sure that there would be more than a dozen extra Crystal Stones. So consider it as a gift from me for helping me take care of everything." Shin said as he smiled.
The salesman's mouth curved upwards as he smiled until his mouth reached his ears.
"Thank you! Thank you!" The salesman said in delight.
Shin took out his phone, looked at the time and said, "can you take care of everything in half an hour? I have somewhere to be"
"Of course of course! Anything for you Lord!!" The salesman said as he laughed in delight
He led Shin towards a room for him to wait.
"Alright you can go. 30 minutes okay?" Shin said.
The salesman nodded and left in a hurry.
As agreed upon, the salesman really did finish all of the work in 30 minutes. He was a handy man.
'it would be great if I had an assistant like him...' Shin thought to himself.
The salesman gave Shin all of the papers and the key to the car.
He shook Shin's hand happily.
"What's your name again?" Shin said.
"Jack sir. My name is Jack, sir" Jack said.
"Okay Jack sir, how much do you earn per month?" Shin asked as he joked.
"How much do I earn per month? Hmmm maybe 20-30 thousand pesos? Sometimes less." Jack answered.
Jack was 24 years old. About 5'7 in height and had bronze skin color. His hair was black and he had a decent face.
"You know my number right?" Shin said.
"Yes why?" Jack replied confusedly.
"Call me if you ever want to quit this job. I'll pay you more than thrice of what you earn here" Shin said.
"Huh?" Jack replied. Shocked.
"Well, you're pretty capable. And I'm in dire need of someone who's capable. I think you fit that description." Shin honestly said.
He entered the car, lowered the window and said, "Remember what I told you."
"I'll think about it sir" Jack replied. Even though Shin was 18 years old. The awe that Shin made Jack feel was as high as the sky. His disposition and bearing was different than the rest of the people at his age.
'Are all SMBs this extravagant?'
