บท 5: Chapter 5: Abducted
Zii jumped and hit his head in the ceiling but what stunned the both of them was that Zii was still floating near the ceiling! But the boy himself did not seem to notice what he was doing!
"What...?" The man said in astonishment.
Zii rubbed his head in confusion and then cried out loud. "Ahhhh!!" He exclaimed.
The woman's eyes constricted as she watched in amazement.
"Shit I'm gonna fall!" Zii said anxiously as he moves his body in midair, in an attempt to slowly descend.
After a few more seconds,
"Oh I'm not gonna fall" Zii said as he laughed but all of a sudden he fell on the floor."Aray!" Zii said while rubbing his ass.There was a long silence after that.
The man looked at Zii like he was a monster.
"Young man, how... How did you do that?" "I don't know" Zii laughed awkwardly.
The man was in deep thought.
"Doctor, can we talk outside for a bit?" The man said in a serious tone.
"Huh? Uh okay?" The woman replied.
They both went outside leaving Zii to himself inside the room.
"I'll get straight to the point. I want to take him with me to perform some tests." The man said.
"What?? Are you serious?? He has a family!" The woman replied anxiously.
The man looked at her and then showed her his card.
'Head Chief of the Special Research Bureau'
"Don't ask questions. I'm from the government. Something like this is out of your field. This matter is related to the safety of the whole country. Possibly the world."
The woman looked at the man and sighed.
"I'm not the one who you should be asking. You know that right?"
The man nodded.
Later that night when Zii was sleeping, a doctor made Zii drink Rohypnol to make him sleep. The man appeared inside the room along with a few other men who were all dressed in black and had their faces covered. They took Zii to their base....
A year later.
'Huh? Where am I?' Shin opened his eyes and thought to himself. He looked at the surroundings and figured that he was in a hospital.
"Jay? Zii? Where are you?" He shouted but no one responded.
But suddenly, Shin felt a headache and then he grimaced in pain.
[Ding Ding! Immense pain attacking the head.]
[System Unlocked]
[Purple God Eyes unlocked]
"Ah!" Shin screamed.
Out of nowhere, he saw a screen that looked like the ones that pop up in a game.
'System Unlocked?? Purple God Eyes?' He thought to himself.
'I'm dreaming aren't I?' Shin thought to himself.
He closed his eyes and then said in his mind, 'Ok no more games. Wake up Shin'
After a few moments passed. Nothing happened.
"Ah! It wasn't a dream!" He said in shock. But before he could even process what was happening, the system notified him again.
[Ding Ding! Pain assaulting the eyes in 3...2...1]
Shin felt pain in his eyes. It was a burning sensation. It felt like someone was gouging his eyes out and ripping it apart.
[Purple God Eyes activating]
[Ding Ding! Fatigue increasing! 35...50...57...]
[Ding Ding! All stats increased by an unknown amount!]
Shin grunted in pain.
He had no time to notice the message that popped up as his mind was occupied by the pain that he was feeling.
After a few seconds, the pain gradually went away. He opened his eyes slowly.
He felt his eyes become much clearer. The fatigue that he felt earlier went away. Vitality and power coursing through his veins. He didn't know why, but it felt like he was filled with energy. He felt like he could easily stop a 10 wheeler truck with only a finger. He didn't notice since there weren't any mirrors around but his eyes turned purple at that moment. It was a horrifying sight since it wasn't a normal thing to have purple eyes. If someone were to see him right now, they would be shocked to their core.
'This is real! I have super powers!' Shin thought to himself. Shin felt ecstatic. It was every boy's dream to gain superpowers. I mean, who wouldn't?? Who wouldn't want to have super powers like captain barbell or elastic man?
A minute passed and a message popped up in front of Shin.
[Ding Ding! Purple God Eyes activation time has passed. Cooldown: 3hours]
After that message popped up, the ethereal state that he was in suddenly vanished. He calmed himself down and breathed in and out for 10 times.
'I've read stories like these, when the main character goes through an accident and then suddenly a game like interface appears in front of him and it's something that he can only see.'
"I got it!" He murmured.
He decided to try something.
'Stats Open' he thought to himself. In an instant, an interface like that of a game appeared in front of him.

After looking at his stats in a daze, he finally calmed down and accepted that what was happening right in front of him was reality.
But what he found odd was that all his stats had question marks next to them. "Hello?" Suddenly, a voice sounded.
This woke Shin up from his moment of thinking. "Oh hello!" Shin said with a smile.
The lady proceeded to check Shin's body and she was shocked to see that there weren't anything wrong with his body.
"How do you feel Mr. Salazar?" The lady asked while still in shock.
"I feel fine. Although my body hurts a bit."
"That's good! Based on what I've checked now, the injuries that you sustained have miraculously disappeared!" The lady was still in shock when he told Shin.
"Hold on I'll call the doctor! This is excellent news!" The lady said as she rushed outside.
"Hey wai-" Shin called out but she was gone.
After a few moments, the lady returned with a man clad in white.
"Hello Mr. Salazar! I'm glad to see you well!"
The doctor said with a smile. "Don't worry. I have already contacted your family."
"That's great. Thank you! ... Uhm... I was about to ask earlier but she ran to fetch you." Shin pointed at the nurse awkwardly.
The nurse blushed but didn't mind.
"Where are my friends? The ones that were with me? Where are they?" Shin asked.
The doctor looked at him strangely and said, "I'm sorry? What do you mean?"
Shin felt a bad premonition.
"Ya know, Zii and Jay?"
"Oh!" The doctor sighed in relief.
"Almost a year ago, someone named Zii Rodriguez woke up and he was taken away by his family. As for this so called Jay, I don't think that there was someone admitted here that had a name like that" the doctor replied.
"You... What do you mean there wasn't someone named Jay?" Shin said anxiously.
The doctor looked at him and said, "That day, do you remember what happened? Are you sure that there was another person with you excluding Zii Rodriguez?"
"Yes! I know it! Jay went with us to that place!" Shin said in a serious tone but his anxiousness was still there.
The doctor nodded. "I'll tell them to look for this Jay". Shin couldn't calm down.
Jay!?
Where is Jay!!??
He had a bad premonition that something bad had happened. He looked at his hands in a daze.
"We'll leave you alone to let you organize your thoughts." The doctor said as he and the nurse left the room.
'hmmm... Orange eyes...' the doctor looked at Shin just as he was exiting the door.
'Jay wasn't admitted in this hospital. Maybe in another hospital?' he thought to himself.
He sighed in relief but the feeling that something bad had happened didn't leave him. "As for Zii... That bastard! Why isn't he here! Didn't the doctor say he left a year ago?"
"WAIT"
"ALMOST A YEAR AGO?!"
"HOW LONG WAS I ASLEEP"
Shin talked to himself as if he was crazy.
