"Hah… I actually managed to get away without getting seriously injured!"
Having come to a stop a short distance away from the ancient city ruins after discovering that the rabbit demon beast decided not to continue chasing after him outside the ancient city ruins, Chu Yang examined his surroundings before finding a place to recover the qi he had used to fight with the rabbit demon beast earlier.
Even though he had managed to escape in the end, the rabbit demon beast was far stronger than he had expected, almost completely exhausting him after only 10 seconds!
If not for the fact that it didn't chase him after he left the ancient city ruins, Chu Yang was almost certain that he would lose to the rabbit demon beast… Of course, this was also considering he only tried escaping and didn't waste any of his energy trying to fight back against the rabbit demon beast.

Feel like I'm starting to develop a writer's block again... Hope its not the case, but I do feel like the last dozen or so chapters have been lacking and I feel like the quality is getting worse every single day... Will try thinking of ways to deal with it. Maybe going back to writing on my side novel "Reincarnated as a Lizard" will work like it did in the past. Have a feeling that the writer's block I have been feeling is to some extent related to the fact that I have not written on my side novel for close to two weeks now... Ended up spending around 5 to 6 hours on this chapter. Normally only use one and a half. Maybe 2... Well, this is the end of my short little rant :d Thanks for the support for my novel like always. Although I'm not always able to respond to everything, I try to do my best <3
