It took a while before everyone in the scene gained their composure after seeing that magnificent sight and action of Ma Liling. They were all in awe of her ability to save herself from that almost disgraceful event which could cause her to lose her reputation and image.
"She truly is a top actress… I can't believe she was able to pull that off."
"Of course, that's my idol… Miss Liling is really awesome."
"How was she able to turn that silk gown into that kind of dress in just a few seconds? That was truly mind-blowing."
As the crew began to discuss, Ma Liling's manager, Lan Quibing shows a proud look on her face along with the makeup artist Min Feiyang. The two heaves a sigh of relief at the same time are very proud of their artist. Actually, they did not know how Ma Liling could do such a thing but the two of them knew that Ma Liling always could do things that are sometimes out of the common sense of a person.
She can fight, she can dance, and she can do a lot more things that seem to distinguish her from any normal person.
And so as they look at Ma Liling their eyes are filled with pride and delight.
Meanwhile, Wan Mei Mei is standing on the side of Ma Liling with a gawking expression as it seems that she could not believe what she just saw. It was like everything is just a dream for her; she could not believe that her plan would fail just like that.
Suddenly, her mind returns to the present when she heard the people around them began clapping their hands. That was the time that she knew that instead of shaming Ma Liling, it propelled her into showing off more of her skills which truly annoyed Wan Mei Mei.
"Miss Liling, you truly did good! That was really awesome!" Director Gao said as he walks towards Ma Liling.
Suddenly, the crew in charge of the wardrobe lowered themselves and continuously bowed towards Ma Liling.
"Miss Liling, we are sorry for the malfunction of the gown. We did not expect that such a thing could happen." The designer said while lowering her head.
Hearing the polite and apologetic words from the wardrobe personnel, Ma Liling was not angered. At least she knew that they are not responsible for this incident which she could see from their expressions.
"No need for that… I know that your group did not do it. However, it seems that this was done on purpose…" Ma Liling said while showing them the strap of the gown.
When those people saw the straps, they all showed an ugly expression on their faces. They knew that the dress was sabotage. And the target for this sabotage is Ma Liling.
"Who would dare harm Miss Liling?!" shouted the Director upon seeing the dress.
Everyone in the set was quiet. Wan Mei Mei showed a nervous expression as her hand began shaking. But she could not admit to this as it would cause too great of a scandal for her.
No one answered and everyone was quiet. Since none wanted to say anything, the director helplessly apologizes to Ma Liling.
The group then reviews what they got from that shoot and since the scene was too perfect, they decided that the transformation act would be the front of the commercial shoot. But the problem with that scene is Wan Mei Mei's character was outshined by Ma Liling's brilliant transformation.
Gritting her teeth in anger, Wan Mei Mei has no choice but to turn around and go back to her trailer. However, as she passes by Jack Li, her eyes gave him a signal which made Jack Li nod his head.
"Hihi… It's my turn. That woman really turned me on. I can't wait to have 'her' tonight." Jack Li thought as he subconsciously licks his lips while his face showed a sinister smile.
However, Jack Li could not help but take a peek at Wan Mei Mei. Although the two have an ambiguous relationship in secret they have not gone to the next stage yet. Hence he suddenly became greedy and wanted to have those two women on his bed. He could not help but fantasize about doing a threesome with those two beauties.
But he has a job to do and a chick to ravage.
So Jack Li took out the mineral bottle that Ma Liling has been using a while ago and under his pocket, he takes out 3 bottles. He then began checking the pills inside those bottles in secret, but he seems to have forgotten something.
He frowns and just picks the yellow pill bottle and then puts a pill in the bottled water.
He acted sneakily and while manager Lan and the makeup artist did not notice him, he puts the bottled water back on Ma Liling's seat.
He then sneakily went to the side and waited.
Meanwhile, Ma Liling has returned to her seat and found the bottled water. She did not think twice and took it. She was a bit thirsty after that filming under the sun and also her quick and rapid movements made her feel her throat drying up.
When the guy saw that Ma Liling has the bottled water in her hand, he was really elated. His expression changes as he could now see the next outcome and could not wait anymore. His imaginations once again have gone wild upon thinking of what would happen next.
"Hihi… Come on… drink it… drink it!" he said as he watches while Ma Liling slowly opens the bottle cap.
When Ma Liling was about to take a sip of the water, manager Lan suddenly asked something and Ma Liling stopped as she answered Manager Lan's question.
Then she began moving the mouth of the bottle towards her lips.
However, manager Lan once again asked her something and Ma Liling stopped to answer.
Min Feiyang on the other hand, did some retouch of Ma Liling's makeup just in case there would be another take. So, Ma Liling put the bottled water on the side.
Jack Li almost wanted to curse those two women for being such a busy body. Without them, Ma Liling would have already taken a sip of the water. But it seems that it would be another failure.
While he is in the act of thinking of another plan, he suddenly noticed Ma Liling closing the water bottle lid on her hand and he saw her gulping down something on her throat.
He did not notice it but it seems that she just drink something.
This made Jack Li show a wide grin on his face.
