บท 39: A Small Gift For My New Godmother

On my first night at the Cartier Estate, I got myself a new big brother. The morning after that, while having breakfast, I found myself a new godmother. 

Nope. I basically got myself into a new family register and a right to a piece of the Cartier inheritance. 

What in the world of f*ckery is this?!

Dear readers, I am not complaining. Far from it. I'm freaking overwhelmed alright? I just came here to freeload on lodging and food, after all. Now I'm suddenly thrusted into this unexpected situation. I feel like the circumstances are a lot more significant than they make it out to be. Everything was spiralling so quickly it's even worse than a whirlwind. 

But all that aside, what astonishes me even more is how nonchalant the other concerned parties are regarding this.
