"Instructor Willis, if I may ask, what do you think? Do you think there is something below the clouds?" Kana could easily find out if she asked the old man, but she wanted to know other people's opinions as well as discover it on her own since it would be more fulfilling that way, rather than being told. 

"Hmmm… I do wonder. There may just be a boundary that leads to nowhere, or it could just be an endless sea of clouds. If I were to ever get the courage to pass through the clouds, I would definitely do so just to see what lay beyond. But the thought of getting lost within the cloud bank does scare me. Not knowing which way is up and down. Left or right. It all makes me feel like I would get lost as soon as I entered. It would be no different than jumping off into a chasm someplace that was a bottomless abyss." Instructor Willis replied honestly. He hated the idea of it all, but he had to admit that fear was what was keeping him from going.
