Kana felt the tree she was in shake violently. Off in the distance, the sounds of fighting could be heard as two demonic beasts began fighting each other. Kana rubbed her chin before transforming back into her dragon form and hopping down from the tree. "If they are both seriously injured…. I might be able to finish them both off and get their cores..."

Kana wanted the cores to grow stronger. She found she grew stronger after consuming the other cores. Although it was not much, it still made her stronger. She had no idea how long it would be before her demonic beast rank would go up or how many cores she would need to consume, but she knew that from the strength of demonic beasts, it would give her a huge advantage if she could consume more cores.
