__________

Charlus stayed true to his word. He didn't do anything the whole Winter. He just waited it out and returned to Beauxbatons. After returning, he observed the results of his prank.

"Today, we will be revising your first lesson - table manners. Everyone, please -"

"Prrrrrp!"

"- sort into groups of two. If you remember your partners from last -"

"Prrrrrp!"

"-time, you can continue those groups. Quick now!"

Everyone except Madame Abadie could hear the farts. She could only smell them. And the smell was nowhere near pleasant. She was swatting an imaginary fly under her nose the whole class.

The rest of the classes were going on unhindered. They learnt how to ride the horse - galloping and all. The rest of the year, all they did in the classes was race with each other. Henri was like a Mongolian Lord who was disguising himself as a child. Henri rode like the wind. He had taken good care of the horse too, and that helped too. Charlus was moderately fast on the field. In the recent classes, they were learning Polo.

Henri was preparing to be the first player, the person who had to receive the ball from his teammates. Lucas was the second player, Henri's support. Charlus was the third player - the person who had to have very good accuracy and had to pass the ball to the first and second players. Lucifer became the fourth player - the goalkeeper.

There would be four sections to a game called chukkas. Each one lasted 7 minutes. And the chukkas would add on if the game wasn't decided after the first four chukkas. Charlus was focusing on improving his accuracy in passing, but either way, Henri would be able to reach the ball before the opponent. They played practise matches with their classmates, and they wrecked them.

As for the Theory of Magic, they were set for the rest of their education. They learnt most of the interactions between the magical ingredients - the common ones at least. They had spent the entire year cramming the interactions, but now they would have it easy for the future years. Especially the fourth year. They would be covering a lot of the fifth year syllabus because of the new teaching structure that enabled them to learn a lot of potions and herbology.

They also got covered a lot of arithmancy classes. They would be able to fare as well as muggles one year younger than them. After they moved on to their fourth year, they would only have core subject for the first two years. They would have Charms, Transfiguration, Herbology, Potions and Dueling.

What everyone was looking forward to was that they would have their wands. They had enviously looked at their seniors perform magic and couldn't wait till they had their own. They would be able to do a lot more with their wands. Just the thought of it made them giddy.

Charlus and his friends were done with their year and were playing capture the flag. It was a very engaging game where each team had a base where they would place their flag. The goal was to guard their flag while trying to steal the opponent's flag at the same time.

It was like a long game of tag. Everyone was exhausted, everyone except Charlus.

"Why are all of you exhausted? I could play another game or two."

Charlus didn't know that his stamina came from the Phoenix blood in his body. It was that he was a monster, not that the rest of his friends were physically inept. Of course, being used to a wizard's lifestyle, all of them were indeed physically inept, but still, they couldn't keep up with Charlus because Charlus had an unfair advantage. They wouldn't be able to beat Charlus in a lot of aspects, so one could say that Charlus was given an unfair advantage in life.

"You are the monster. How the hell do you still have the energy to run?"

Since it was the last day, and everyone was exhausted, they didn't leave but didn't talk either. When the time came, they all left for their homes.

Charlus was greeted by Sirius and Harry when he came out of the mass portkey. He was excited.

"Are we going to go to Diagon Alley today too?"

Sirius shook his head.

"No. Today, we are going to go to a place that you would prefer to visit in the summer. We brought our luggage too. Since you have your luggage, we are going to set off."

Harry was in the side. Charlus could see that Harry was saying something, but he couldn't hear anything. It was like someone had put a silencing charm on him.

"I put it so he won't spill the beans."

Sirius took responsibility for the silencing charm. He led the brothers out of the ministry. He then took their hands and apparated. They landed in a remote place beside an ocean. It was a cliff. The cliff was surrounded by water on all sides.

Sirius took out a coin and told the brothers to hold on.

"Why are we doing it here? Can't we do it in the ministry itself?"Charlus asked curiously.

"It's 'cause the portkey works better here than in the ministry. Now hold on."

Once everyone held on, Sirius took out his wand and conjured a rope that tied the brothers to him. Then he said, "I solemnly swear that I wish to go there."

They vanished, and the cliff was deserted again. Slowly, the cliff vanished, and the entire place wasn't visible anymore. There was only the ocean, with its tide and salty wind.
