Corso Donatella performed a thorough and informed inspection of the old scout. The surprise Brendan showed puffed him up a little. The surprise Rafaela showed irritated him more than he had expected.
"You have obviously studied the original structure of the ship, if not the structural redesigns your daughter created for modernizing its nodes," Brendan commented with a quick glance at the currently open panels, as he entered the cabin again. The drawers that usually hid those accesses were piled neatly in the center of the cabin.
"I saw it when it was still broken open," Corso replied rather sharply. "More stuff to try to stuff somewhere?" He asked after eyeing the bundle in Brendan's arms.
"Alexandria and Harry insisted on sending you a change of clothes," Brendan replied calmly.
