บท 156: PC: More Preparations

The youngest member of SkyWater's freighter crew froze when everyone turned toward him in surprise. 

"Are your debts really that extensive?" the eldest asked with amusement.

"I inherited them," the younger man replied grimly. "If my debts will be cleared, and I'll be fed and given medical access, I'll be better off here."

"You'll have to learn English," Rafaela pointed out.

"You'll never be able to return to SkyWater!" Corso added more emphatically.

The youngest of his crew, who had earlier expressed the wish to simply wake up at home, gave Corso an odd look. "Are you going to open a branch here?" he asked.

Corso opened his mouth, and shut it again without saying anything.
