"You sound tired," I said. "When was the last time that you slept?" My questions only met silence. Actually, he did sound exhausted. I heard him sigh on the other line.

"I will go home as soon as I can."

"Alright. Take care of yourself. Eat a lot."

He chuckled. "Yes, ma'am."

The call lasted for a few more minutes as we talk about Xu Je'er's plan to win the start-up company award.
