บท 124: The one who stays and the one who goes

Xiao Jingyi sighed as he decided to let it go, "Forget it. You are weird, to begin with, so what could I expect?" 

The latter half of the sentence was said in such a low volume that Fu Jie was unable to hear it, however, if he did, he would have surely been fuming and giving himself out in the very next second. 

"Shizun, when are we getting out of here?" Fu Jie asked impatiently as he stared at the man. 

"Hmm?" 

Fu Jie pursed his lips in a thin line as he waited for the man to say something but when he got no answer even after waiting for a solid minute, he sighed as he spoke up, "We caught the monster so we can get out of here, can't we?" 

"How?" Xiao Jingyi simply questioned back. 

"Eh?" Fu Jie blinked as he suddenly had a foreboding feeling in his stomach, "What do you mean how?" 

Xiao Jingyi shrugged his shoulder as he responded, "How are we supposed to get out of here?"
