Day 4
"What is this Ball of Ice!?"
Waking up, Quin wanted to go back to sleep.
"Brother! What is this!? Why is it here?"
'Damn it.'
"Sayu, I'll tell you in a bit. Let me rest a little longer."
"But I want to see what's inside! Can I? Can I!?"
'She's so hyper today. How the hell does a kid have so much energy? ...I'm not even tired anymore.'
Opening his eyes, the Dryad from yesterday was sitting in front of him. Next to her was a Jar filled with Nectar.
"I'll get it ready in a moment. Let me wake up completely."
Using {Soak I}, he creates a small amount of Water.
Washing his Face, he's completely awake.
'Should I try out Wind Magic?'
Creating a swirling ball of wind, he drys his face.
"Alright. I'm all set. Let's get some breakfast."
Turning the Nectar into Honey, Quin walks towards the Igloo he made last night.
'Does Ice Magic work in the reverse? What if I...'
Focusing, he tried controlling the Ice, thinking of a few different methods.
However, the first method worked.
The Ice opened up, melting into water before dissolving into vapor.
'That's good. I thought I would need to melt it manually.'
"There's so much stuff! What is all of this?" Sayu picked up a bottle.
"They're Items I got using one of my Skills. Try not to cause any problems."
"What's all the fuss about? ...What's that?" Trayfi was awake.
"Good morning. I have a Skill called {Slots}, so I get prizes every time I Level Up."
"...Hm?"
Half asleep, Trayfi slowly processes what he said.
"...Cool. When's Breakfast?"
'She's escaped reality.'
"I'll make it soon. We should still have some Wolf Meat that Remi froze. Go wake her up while I make breakfast."
Without taking another look at the pile of Items, Trayfi walks away.
'I guess I'll explain things while we eat.'
They had Cooked Wolf Meat with a small amount of Honey.

After explaining his new Skill, Trayfi is left with a blank face, while Remi is completely in awe.
"Master... I-Isn't that a little..."
"Cheating? Well, it is a Unique Skill, so in simple terms, a Cheat Skill." Quin Examined the Flame Wand.

'A Magic Wand? And the effects are good too.'
"Trayfi, can you try this out for a second?"
Trayfi was finally accustomed to the situation, and took the Wand from his hands.
"What's this? A Stick?" Trayfi examined it.
"It's a Wand. It boosts the Control of Magic, as well as the power of Fire Magic. I think it'll help you use your Fire Magic more effectively."
Standing up, Trayfi moves to a more open area.
"Are you sure this will work? I don't have {Fire Magic}, so I can only use my Internal Magic. Does that work?"
"We'll only know when you try. If it doesn't work, then we'll just need to find a different method to improve your power output."
Taking a deep breath, Trayfi tightly grips the Wand.
The Hissing Sound began, slowly but surely building up.
The Noise grew louder and louder, until she finally exhaled.
Unlike the small Spark she made, a small flame spat out, along with the usual smoke. This time, the smoke contained a large amount of embers.
'There was a slight increase in power, but it was definitely an improvement.'
"That was your best one yet. You should keep it... Trayfi?"
"...That was a little underwhelming. Sorry, but I can't be very excited about a small change." Trayfi stared at the Wand in her hands.
"Well, just keep it up. I mean, you'll eventually get {Fire Magic}, right? When you do, you should be able to use Fire more proficiently."
"I guess you're right. Here." She holds out the Wand.
"No, keep it. It'll put me at ease knowing that you'll be able to use Magic sooner or later."
"Really? You got this from your {Slots} Skill, right? Isn't this a precious Item?"
"Not necessarily. I don't have much of a use for it, so I think you'll put it to better use."
"...If that's how it is, then I accept your gift. I'll try to get {Fire Magic} as soon as I can! Then I can start a Fire with ease!"
"Good. Then, about the rest of... them. You want something too?"
Remi, Sayu and the Dryad were all lined up with faces clearly showing their greed.
'Even the Dryad? This is troubling.'
"Alright, but first I need to check the other Items."
Their faces immediately lit up.
'Okay, first off.'
[Thunder Boots]
{Greatly increases the Speed of the Wearer. There is also a massive power increase for Magic of the Lightning Element}

'These are quite the asset! These Boots are a bit too good. Should I give these to one of them? ...But I don't know who it would be the most useful for. Remi uses Magic, Sayu has a lot of Strength, and the Dryad can use Magic as well as Drain Energy from their opponent. They don't have a lower half anyways, so Footwear is out of the question. Maybe Sayu?'
Looking at Sayu, he looked from her feet, then back at the Boots.
'They're... too big. The look as though they would fit me, but I'm not entirely sure. Maybe one of these weapons?'
[Steel Sword]
{A Sword made of 100% Steel. Although Heavy, it's Sharpness can be maintained for a long time}

'This one is good. How about the second?'
[Dull Steel Sword]
{A Steel Sword that has been thoroughly used. It is very dull, but can be sharpened to it's former glory}

'What is that? A Hidden Skill? ...I'll give the Steel Sword to Remi, and keep the Dull one until I figure out what that Skill is.'
Taking the Sword, he walks towards Remi.
"Remi, this is a good Sword that can keep you safe in close quarters. Keep it on you at all times, and only use it in an emergency."
Taking the Sword, Remi stays silent, but has a big smile on her face.
'She seems to like it. Now, what do I give Sayu and the Dryad?'
[Iron Dagger]
{A Dagger that has been used a few times. Made of pure Iron, but very light, and easy to use}

'This is good for Sayu. Despite her strength, she could use this someday.'
"Sayu, take this Dagger. Be very careful, and only take it out when needed."
"Thank you! I... never got a gift before. It feels... nice." Sayu had a grateful, yet sad smile.
'...I need to explore that Hatch they found. It probably leads to wherever Sayu was raised.'
"Hmm~ Hmm~" The Dryad looked eager.
"Now, what should I give you? I don't think you can use Weapons. Hmm..."
'Should I give her a Potion? But which one? A Mana Potion? Magic Potion? ...Maybe a name?'
"How about I give you a name?"
The Dryad tilted her head, but seemed happy about that option.
'Name, name... I can't think of anything. Should I go with a different language from my world?'
After running through the Languages he vaguely remembers, he chose one of the translations that he didn't forget.
"Mel. In Latin, it means Honey."
The Dryad, Mel, beamed greatly at her new name.
"Mel~! Mel~!"
She suddenly began to lightly glow.
'What the... What is going on?'
[Tame the Creature {Dryad}, and give the name {Mel}?]
'Taming? This went from giving to getting. ...Well, Sayu has already grown to like her, so I don't think I can refuse.'

'...Okay, you lost me. The first 2 are fine, but was {Treat Creation} necessary?'
"Quin! What was that glow?" Trayfi stopped practicing her Magic.
"I... tamed the Dryad? I'm not too sure of what happened."
"Master~ That's rude!"
"Sorry, sorry. But I don't know anything about tami- ...Huh?"
"Master, you really don't know a lot. I don't know a lot as well, so let's learn together!"
'...{Tame Speech}. I should've known. I shouldn't even be surprised.'
"Trayfi, can you understand what Mel says?"
"Mel? ...Did you name the Dryad?"
"I think so. I got some Skills for it as well."
"Then there you have it. Also, no. I can't understand a single word she says."
'That is... good to know. I just wanted to make sure.'
"Master, can you make some more Honey? I'm hungry."
"Hungry already? Didn't you just eat?"
"Getting a Name takes a lot of Mana. I need to get it back to be at full power!"
'I see. So becoming "Tamed" consumes Mana. I feel like it should be the reverse, but this is a different world, so I'm not too surprised.'
"Then, should I try making some Snacks with my new Skill? Maybe some Honey Candies?"
"Candies? What's that?" Trayfi asked.
"Master! What is this 'Honey Candies'? Does it still taste like Honey?" Mel was drooling.
"Calm down. I'll see if I can make some using Honey. Mel, if you would."
"Already done! One Jar of Nectar!"
Quin turns the Nectar into Honey.
"That'll never get old. Now, how do I do this? Should I just wing it?"
[Would you like to turn the {Honey} into {Honey Treats}?]
'Yes.'
[What Percent will be turned?]
'All of it.'
[Processing...]
With a bright flash of light, all of the Honey in the Jar disappeared.
Replacing it were small yellow cubes roughly the size of a sugar cube.
'Success? Let me give one a try. ...Yup, it's nothing but Honey. It's just Hard Candy.'
"What are these?" Remi and Sayu take one each.
Putting the Cubes in their Mouths, their expressions immediately changed.
"It's so sweet~! Brother! Can I have some more?"
"Save some for later. I think we have enough resources to keep travelling, so we should get going soon."
"Master, where are you headed?" Mel takes a Honey Cube.
"No idea. I hardy know where I am, I don't have a Map, and I don't even know the direction to the nearest Village. Other then the Village that Trayfi and Remi came from, I haven't seen much."
"Hmm~? Master is so weird."
'Other then the Castle, I haven't seen any other Human Civilizations. And the closest Humans were those guys in Lab Coats.'
Looking in the distance, Quin could see the Large Bush, which is said to have a Hatch hidden within.
'I guess it's about time we check that place out.'
