บท 32: [31] Grandma
(Sorry was watching Bridgerton.... like repeatedly and before you start to wonder why it is because Simon and Daphne are relationship goals.... well before she found out he was lying about the kids thing.... but to be honest I have been writing a side Fan-Fic [that I won't post] with my character going after her sister Eloise cause she is my new wifey!!! Anyway I will be posting whenever I can from now on! PS. Was stuck on which girl to choose but I have decided.)
A week Later....
I was chilling in the kitchen helping Ian with some of his homework while Savannah was actually baking with Debby before the kids arrived for the day. Ethel was also here with Malik who she did end up meeting but she didn't look like she was going to leave this time, she was to close to Kev, V, and me to actually leave without hurting herself.
Savannah and Debby were making cookies for the kids when a woman came in to pay Debby for the week, they were having a little argument over payment but I let her handle it. Savannah grabbed a cookie out of the oven then with her swaying hips she walked over to me and sat down in my lap holding one, "Try it this is the first time I have done anything like this, even if Debby did do most of it."
The cookie was still warm and melted in my mouth, I couldn't help but let out a satisfied groan which made her smile, "Damn girl that is good, I am going to need you to make those always." I said while liking the crumbs off her fingers.
She pushed my head away but smile, "Whatever you say Casanova."
As we were sitting there making googly eyes at each other we heard some noise coming from the living room, looking over we saw Debby along with an old woman coming our way. They both came into the living room and she looked us both over before speaking, "Well seeing as no one in my family has crazy hair like yours then you aren't one of ours." she said talking to Savannah.
I chuckled and walked over hugging her, "Hey Grandma it is good to see you out of the hospital." she hugged me back and smiled a little, we were actually really close seeing as I was the only one who sent her letters and visited her.
"Hey Malcolm it is finally good to hug you. Is this girl here your girlfriend?" she said pulling back and looking over to Savannah.
I scratched my head and avoid the topic, "What brings you here? Didn't you get life?" Savannah didn't seem to mind and smiled slightly while also going to grab more cookies.
"There were circumstances and they let me out." she skirted around the information even though I already knew why she was out but I didn't bring it up, "Hey Debby told me that is your car out there, I am going to go to the bathroom then can you take me to find your father?"
"Sure no problem," I turned to Savannah who was leaning on the counter and eating a cookie, "Are you joining or heading somewhere else?"
"Going with you, I have nothing else to do plus along the way we can work on my homework." she said while putting most of the cookies into a Tupperware bowl.
I nodded and went to my room to grab a shirt, even if the house was cool I was spending all the time showing off my body not that anyone said anything other than the girls. After waiting for twenty minutes she came down with Carl who was appointed as her personal pusher, they went out to the car Ian left before Grandma arrived so it was just us.
We went to Shelia's first since there was no telling where he was at the moment, when we got there it was just her and Carl who went in while me and Savannah waited. It didn't take long for them to come back out without Frank he must already be at the Alibi Room if he wasn't there then there was no telling where he was at the moment.
This time we went inside mainly cause I wanted a drink, going inside Frank was talking to Tommy and Kirby so while they handled that we went to get a drink from Kev. "Man what are you playing driving Ms. Daisy now?" He asked when we sat down Savannah left her books in the car and was looking around the room.
"Yeah unlike my other siblings I actually keep in touch with her so I don't mind. Now get me a jack and coke please, no telling how long she will keep us waiting here."
"And I will have a cranberry Vodka please, put it on his tab." Savannah pointed at me with a smile while bringing out her Tupperware of cookies.
"Coming up." he said while going to get our drinks that made Savannah speak something that I was dreading a little.
"You know you can avoid defining our relationship for only at most another week right, then you need to decided if it is me or her."
I sat there and took the drink that Kev handed he heard the conversation so he walked away giving us privacy, "Yeah I know but why are you bringing that up now exactly?"
"Just reminding you that you can't get out of it after the week is over so you might want to start thinking of what you are going to do." She said while taking the drink that Kev offered to her, he raised a brow but didn't stay to hear no matter how much he wanted to.
"Yeah I know." I said while smiling at her lightly, my mind was already made up but I didn't know how she was going to take the news so I was waiting until the day came that I needed to answer her.
They sat there waiting until grandma said she needed me to drive her and Frank somewhere, I didn't question it but went with her to the car while Savannah followed. She gave him the place that she wanted to go which was the doctors office, I knew what was going on but didn't say anything since it was here business not his.
Though this wasn't suppose to happen until tomorrow but I guess since she saw that I had a car then she was going to go today, Frank complained the whole way which got annoying. I rolled my eyes and turned up the music which made him calm down when he realized that no one could actually hear his rants.
When we arrived just the two of them went inside, I assumed it went like the show at this point I was just going through the motions of everything that was going on at the moment. Savannah was also sitting in the car singing along to the music while seeing how everything was playing out with them.
A couple of hours later I was shaking my head after coming back to the house, Frank did the same as before but this time was actually able to get a hundred grand. Though it was still less then what she was getting, it was funny to see how she handled Frank though from the loss.
She ended up stabbing him in the leg with the knife I kept in the back seat.
The next morning I woke up with Savannah gone, she stayed over but this was actually the first time that she has been gone before I even woke up, it was a little weird. Anyway not minding I got out of the bed and went to start breakfast, though I wasn't a master chef I did master some basic breakfast foods.
The breakfast was a simple Eggs, Bacon, and Toast but I ended up adding my own twist on the eggs so they were a little different, as for everything else it was just the same. While cooking Granny came down and asked if I could drive her around again but I declined seeing as I didn't want to spend another day doing that.
She looked upset but didn't say anything but got Carl to push her over to Shelia's but of course he charged her money, which made me smile. While I was eating Savannah walked in with a box of donuts and coffee she raised a brow at me, "What decided to try your hand at cooking?"
"Yeah and it actually turned out great." I said while popping the last of my bacon into my mouth.
"I highly doubt that." she shuddered probably remembering when I made her breakfast once but it turned out horrible if both of us throwing up was any indication.
Smiling I walked over to her kissing her on the neck, she was in another swim top which was pink and shorts, this had been her summer outfit. She moaned leaning back into me but I caught the smile on her lips that she was trying to hide, biting her collar bone she giggled.
"Stop it eat the donuts, idiot." she said while pushing my head away.
"Why you taste so much better." I grinned while going in again.
