As I walk in the street, I can observe the people living in the center part of the Flaest Kingdom.
The best and fastest way to check if the people living in a place have a great ruler or not is by checking the eyes of the people. If their eyes show the will to live, their life condition is excellent since they willingly want to live in that certain place. Of course, at least the majority must possess that quality.
But in the center part of the Flaest Kingdom, only people who have expensive clothes possess the will to live and they make up at most 10% of the people. The 90% percent of the people who don't possess the will to live are commoners.
The people that wear expensive clothes must be from a noble lineage or merchant lineage. So, I can conclude that I can easily usurp the Flaest Kingdom just by killing all corrupt nobles and enslaving the good nobles.
Of course, I will improve the living condition of the people after I usurp the Flaest Kingdom to prevent rebellion. By doing so, I can kill two birds with one stone.
For now, I should go to a tavern and obtain some information about the corrupt nobles and the good nobles.
As I think of that, I enter a tavern that is full of people. The key to obtaining information from people in the tavern is by bribing them with alcohol in exchange for information. Whether the information is true or not is up to my understanding and what the majority of the people in the tavern provide.
...
I exit the tavern after staying in the tavern for at least half an hour. I didn't waste my time in meetings and money in bribing the people in the tavern since I have met an information broker in the tavern.
Fortunately, the information broker in the tavern is neutral after I gaze into his soul so I found out that as long as I give him money, he will give me information.
The information I obtained from the information is all about the living conditions of the people and information about infamous nobles in the Flaest Kingdom. I have also obtained information about the nobles who have a good reputation in the Flaest Kingdom so I can't mess up in killing the good nobles instead of the corrupt nobles.
All of the information that I have obtained from the information broker should be valid since he isn't lying. It is either the information broker got the wrong information and he told me about it or he got the right information and he told me about it without lying.
Anyways, I will confirm the validity of the information that I have obtained from the information broker by raiding all of the corrupt nobles and interrogating those nobles.
Of course, I will not kill the useful corrupt nobles but enslave them instead. After all, as long as they are useful even if they are evil, I can recycle them and let them do my bidding by Soul Slavery.
I am not justice itself but I possess my justice. So, for me, good and evil are nothing as long as they are useful to my goal. But even so, I will not implicate the innocent unless necessary.
I stroll around the center part of the Flaest Kingdom until I see a crowd of people gathering in the street.
I join the crowd since I have a gut feeling that something will happen if I enter the crowd of people and observe the cause of the crowd.
At the center of the crowd, a fat adult is wearing expensive clothing while he stares in disdain towards a 12-year-old kid that lay on the ground writhing in pain.
If I guess correctly, the kid should either have offended the fat noble or the fat noble framed the kid.
After checking the kid, I only have one thought. I must save the kid!
