บท 9: PUNISHMENT
"I don't know."
"But I think the punishment will be a severe one."replied another on the side.
"Let's catch up before we are also punished by Mr.Bald."the first student said as he joined the other group.
"But this isn't the way to dungeon."Hedrick said cautiously.
"So, you already know the whereabouts of my dungeon."
"I can draw for you the architecture and guards and their movements and schedule if you like."
"But that comes with a price to pay."
"Young boy, seems you are pretty interesting."
They soon arrived in front of an spherical shaped glass building.
"The administration block?" Hedrick asked puzzled.
"I don't seem to remember the administration block being part of the school tour,how did you know about it?"Mayla who was quiet for quite a long time finally asked.
"Seems we both thought about the same thing."Hamburd said.
Then all their eyes were fixed on Hedrick.
"Aren't we hear to receive our punishment?"
Then Mayla's face turned a little bit red and her heart beat increased and become faster.
"Don't worry, nothing bad will happen to you.''
"I'm your protector."Hedrick assured Mayla with a smile.
Hamburd then got his card and pressed it on the scanner and the door opened.The two followed him from behind and headed towards the elevator.Different teachers could be seen moving in different ways and many offices on the ground floor could be seen.Most of them who passed by Hamburd always bowed to him as they greeted him.Hedrick seemed to annoying while entertaining to others.This was because he always raised his hand showing his palm towards the teachers who bowed like an Indian mom blessing his son.
"Please behave yourself."Mayla said as they approached the elevator.
Hamburd pulled out his card and pressed it on the scanner and as soon as they entered he pressed 4 the biggest number that could be seen on the screen.A few seconds later, the elevator opened and one office seemed with the word closed on it. A blue print could be seen on top of the door way "ʜᴇᴀᴅ ᴀᴅᴍɪɴɪsᴛʀᴀᴛᴏʀ."
They then headed in and Hamburd headed to his office car that was white in colour.A pile of papers could be seen on his table.Aside the table was a coffee machine and a small library of records was seen near the door way.Behind him was a small window that gave him a nice view of the school relatively.
"Why is the principal's office closed?"asked Hedrick.
"What do you mean exactly?"Hamburd asked as he sat down on his chair.
"Nothing really."
"I guess I thought too much."
"Feel free,you can tell me."Hamburd insisted.
"I think it's better if I found out myself."Hedrick replied.
"But I have to warn you."
"As the saying goes, Curiosity killed the cat."
"So what is the punishment?"asked Mayla worriedly.
"Well the punishment may seem easy but since you don't have any abilities or powers for now,it may seem a little bit difficult."Hamburd answered as he stared at the two.
"So what is the punishment?"Hedrick asked.
"What do you think Mr.Genius?"
"I think you have already guessed it out."he added.
"I think it has something to do with the papers on the table."Hedrick replied as he scratched through his hair.
"Well seems I was right about you,Mr.Genius."
"Both of you have to staple and organize all those papers in one hour before I come back."
"All of these?"Mayla said in protest.
"Why not?"Hedrick disrupted her other questions.
"Sir!don't worry,we shall accomplish the task."
"Okay!if you don't I will double the punishment."Hamburd said as he got up from his seat and began heading out of the room.
"Okay sir don't worry we shall accomplish it perfectly."
