บท 107: Talk Over Coffee

SGT. WILLOW ASTRE

I talk before I even fully decide. There's just something about him…something that makes you want to trust him. 

"We're researching something big, big enough to change the military world forever. That's why we're all so worried," I say says after a short pause, finding my voice full and serious.

The research…yes, it's revolutionary, something that will cause ripples all around the world.

"Yeah, I figured as much. Like I said, we'll get your case back, don't worry too much. You can trust us," he replies.

I look at him, his eyes meeting mine once again.

Should I? should I tell him? This past that's driven me all this time? Am I really willing to tell this man I just met?

But somehow, I feel like he'd listen, that he'd understand. He just feels like that, a soul willing to heal others. Maybe I can trust that feeling. 

Finally, I sigh, my decision final.
