That damned Banian, what has he done? How could he do something like this?

No, it could not have been him. No human is capable of this, no human should be capable of this. This power is beyond human capacity. Something else is behind this. But that does not mean that Banian is not involved. He has been made instrument in its use. Damned humans and their fickleness. 

I walk back towards the man. By now, the black veins have reached his neck. He is still writhing in pain. Unconscious, sweating profusely, his skin turning pale and cold to the touch. He is deep pain, not just physically, but spiritually. 

I close my eyes to sense his spirit. Sure enough, mixed with his spirit is this rotten concoction that Banain's force is using. It is slowly devouring his being, simultaneously causing the physical pain.
