"Okay, you sit here, pretty lady, and don't you give me that pout," Nimu warned her baby sister.

"My ears hurt, you little dipshit," Hera said as she clutched her ears. Hera had changed over the years, and this time, she looked better than the last time they had been home. However, her sister was busy watching her.

She looked prettier, which was not fair on all the females anywhere in the world. It was almost like the goddess had decided to bestow all of earth's beauty on a woman who didn't know how to use her beauty.

What was the use anyway?

Hera was a blunt knife when it came to herself and her body. She knew nothing, absolutely nothing about the effect she had on people. Of course, as a queen, she knew she was powerful, but away from the titles, she saw herself as just another girl on the planet.
