Darius had asked himself that question over and over. the fact that they were immortals didn't make it any easier to deal with. It only meant that the more they postponed, the more work they could eventually have in the future days.

"then I'll be here with you. We always fight our wars together. Five or nothing, remember? Five go to war, five come back home. It doesn't matter what happens to us. I don't really care about that; what matters is that you are here with me and I am with you.

We will fight to the end" Darius said as he hugged him tightly, kissing him goodnight or whatever.

It would all get better, but first, it was about to get worse for them all.
