Angelo was done speculating and gambling with the what-ifs. His people were in danger, and if Hera knew something, he would make her tell him, even if he had to force the mate bond, he would do that.

The distance between the castle and the southern border was enough for him to think about everything that was eating him up, but even then, he never got any answers.

He didn't know why she had rejected him, and he was desperate to know, but for now, he needed to know what she had been doing while she was away, what she had been up to and how she had gotten entangled with the vampire king who she had failed to mention at their first meeting.

Angelo was pissed.

He was pissed at everything around him, including nothing that made him feel better. He had only wanted a mate, but he had been given one who dint seem to want him for some twisted reason. With each step he made to the omegas, he couldn't help but wonder how she looked like.
