"you think it was her, right?" Carl podded Mikhail, who didn't know what to say and seemed to be deep in his own thoughts, but Carl continued.

"that could explain why you were so shocked she rejected Angelo. You knew she wanted to be the queen, but when she suddenly changed her mind, you were angry. Because she wanted it, and you just didn't understand how she could do that."

He mused, trying to understand what could have made Rhian change her mind so fast. There had to be something else because everyone that night could see she was happy and excited to be here.

In a way, he was right. Mikhail had been mad at his sister for rejecting what she had always wanted, but he wasn't sure about her reasons.

Whatever it was, he had to respect it because Hera was never one to make rash decisions. Sure, her mouth and brain had some connection issues, but that was when she was frustrated and being blatantly honest.
