Nimue searched the woods for two hours without so much as a hint of where Dani was, and the anger she had been feeling was gone.

In its place was the worry for the girl landing in the hands of the very falci that wanted her all those years ago. The sun had already gone down, and soon darkness would come, which meant Nimue wouldn't have another way to seek her out.

She had been angry when she left the house, and she had every right to; she knew for a fact that reconciling Dani, Rhian, and Hera would be one hell of a job, especially with Rhian being a stubborn fucked up bitch.
