บท 2: 0002 - To Viridian City
There is a rule in the League that Pokemons given to beginner trainers must be in the kid stage and must be caught within the area. This means that there must be at least a heard of Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander near Pallet Town for Professor Oak to give these three Pokemons every year.
I began searching the nearby area for the Pokemons. It didn't take me long to find the Charmander herd near the rocky areas around Pallet Town. Before I had awakened my memories I was a Charmander fan and I had researched about were to get one if I couldn't select a Charmander as my starter. Now I am putting that knowledge into use.
While looking for a Charmander I had ran across a group 8 of young Eevees fighting a group of 12 of Rattata. It didn't look to good for the Eevees and I had waited till the Eevees were tired out and all but 1 of the Rattata were tired before I had Pikachu go ahead and knock everyone out with a Thundershock. I then caught all 20 Pokemons. I had used Luxurious Friend Ball for the Eevee's while regular pokeballs for the Rattata.
Soon I had reached the area where I heard that Charmanders could be found. I had seen a bunch of Charmanders and Charmeleons but one of them stood out to me. It was a yellowish gold Charmander that was left out of the group. It was a Variant Charmander and it was injured as well. Soon the Variant Charmander left the group and I saw another Charmander following it. The Charmander then engaged in battle with the injured Variant Charmander and was attempting to keep attacking him when he couldn't fight anymore. It was then I threw my Luxurious Friend Ball at the Variant Charmander while Pikachu sent a thundershock at the Charmander knocking it out. I had caught the other Charmander as well. After I caught both of the Charmanders I had left the area so that I don't run into the stronger Charmanders or Charmeleons.
Anyways it was getting late and I had found myself near the beach not far from Pallet Town and I had physically enter my Spiral Space with Pikachu. It was here I released the Eevees and the Variant Charmander. They were weary of me at first but they seemed have trusted me after my explanation, healing them and feeding them.
I had told the Eevee my plan for them and let them chose between themselves on which evolution paths they wanted to take. I decided to raise their happiness to 255 before evolving them so I gave each of them a everstone.
I had let my Pokemons rest in the Spiral Space and told them I would be training them from tomorrow.
After a quick rest I along with Pikachu began exploring the beach area around 3 am in the morning and I was surprised on what I had seen. I ran closer to it to see that I wasn't wrong. It was a Variant baby Lugia with the colour scheme of white and black but it was in a near death state. I took out a full restore and used the full bottle on it as well as a max revive which seemed to improve its conditions. Afterwards I had used my Pokeball to catch the Lugia.
After catching the injured Lugia I reentered my Spiral space mentally and was thinking of how I could heal Lugia until I remembered I could use Chaos Points. I threw all the Rattata into the Chaos Pool and received 72 Chaos Points and then proceeded to use 50 points to fully heal Lugia. After I was done I came into the realization on what just happened.
I had caught a Lugia.
After calming down I began to continue searching the Beach until I had found the heard of Squirtle and Wartortle sleeping. I caught the youngest Squirtle I could find and left the area. I had decided to wait till sun rise and head to Viridian City.
While heading to Viridian City I had Pikachu and 4 other Pokemons out to escort me as well as training. I was rotating on who was out except for Lugia who was still healing in my Spiral Space. It had taken me a 2 days journey to reach Viridian City.
It was on my way to Viridian City that I had my first Horde Battle. While my Pokemons were practicing one of the attacks had hit a Spearow and it went ballistic. Seeing that it was out numbered if it initiated an attack it called for its flock and then started to attack us. All my Pokemons except Lugia was out and fighting the flock of Spearows. I didn't stay ideally by as well because I had started throwing pokeballs to capture Spearows that whose levels vary from 5 to 9. In the end I had caught 30 Spearows who I had sacrificed to the Chaos Pool allowing me to gain 214 more chaos points. All the points were used to heal Lugia and resuppling my items. Luckily I had no other encounters while on my way to Viridian City.
Once I reached Viridian City Pokemon Centre I discovered that it was under repair.
I entered the Center and saw Nurse Joy and went up to her.
Blake: "Hello Nurse Joy, I have a few Pokemons that I needs a basic checkup and I was wondering if it is possible? Also if you don't mind can you tell me what happened here?"
Nurse Joy: "A bunch of thieves called Team Rocket tried to steal our Pokemons a couple of days ago but was stopped by a trainer from Pallet Town and his Charmander."
Blake: "Ah, his name won't happen to be Ash right?"
Nurse Joy: "Yes, that was his name."
Blake: "Thanks, also can you also register me for the Pokemon League Ace Trainer Circuit."
Nurse Joy: "Sure."
So Ash had already passed here with his Charmander.
