บท 145: Something Dull

Serenica was a bit terrified by the idea of intruding into the dream of a stranger, let alone a Lean, and one that was probably not as enamored with her as the fair prince was. She thought of herself as an honest woman, so, naturally, she voiced these concerns to the Dreamer, who nodded, seemingly understanding her distress.

"You are with an expert right now. Normally I would not do this, but you are an adept witch. You can do it, with me you can."

"Oh, there is an island!" Serenica said, pointing towards the sliver of abnormally white sand in the horizon.

"That looks like it's created by my mother," the prince said. He didn't seem to be delighted.

"You have a less than satisfactory relationship with her?" Serenica asked.

"Not every mother is worth the title," he said and grimaced.

She didn't want to push him to reveal anything he didn't want to tell her.
