"Hang the man! Bring the blue dress!" Wheatby yelled to his subordinates.

Serenica hadn't felt her mouth move, but the scream was her own, one of primal anxiety and terror.

Kinley chuckled. "You thought you would have time to do something funny before his death? You were wrong."

Spade was forced to step on the chair at gunpoint. The noose was placed around his neck.

Serenica felt her internal organs switch places. She wanted to vomit.

"Any last words?" the executioner asked.
