CHAPTER START---
Reacting on instinct Yang boosts backward, avoiding the spear wielded by the young Pallum before him. Pock can be seen holding his weapon in his hands, gritting his teeth, a small trail of blood running down the left side of his face from under his helmet.
"Uh, ugh, wat?" Yang mumbles out as he continues to back up. Still dazed and confused from the blinding light, now faced with an enemy that's completely new. Struggling to catch his bearing he focuses on getting away from his opponent.
Seeing his opponent in distress, Pock presses his assault. Thrust after thrust he barely misses, even with his target in a daze, the difference in their stats cannot be ignored. Attacking someone an entire level ahead of you is dangerous, this may be his only chance and with the intent and aggression in each of his movements, it's painfully clear that this young man knows he can't miss this chance.
'Where the hell did Sid go? Ugh this kid is annoying' Yang thinks as he continues to avoid the spear bombarding him. His mind elsewhere as he tries to locate the mage in the room.As he takes another step backward he lowers his center of gravity by bending his knees slightly. As the spear tip passes just shy of his head he closes the distance on Pock and slams his palm into the Pallum's chest plate, knocking him off his feet and making space.
Skidding almost 30ft on his back Pock is completely winded, gasping for air he cannot even form a sound as he greedily gulps down mouthful after mouthful of air. Craning his neck to look at his opponent, to his adbsoulte delight, instead of pressing the advantage Yang is instead simply standing there holding his head. He sees him do this for a moment before Yang takes a deep breath and slams his right foot on the ground, the sound it makes echoes in the chamber as a small crack forms under his foot.
'Tremor sense' Yang commands as he pushes his mana into the floor to locate his previous opponent. After a mere second, a smile forms on his face. 'Gotcha', he lifts his right and aims it to the far wall on his right before gathering magic for a quick attack. "Firebolt barrage" he calmly says as a torrent of attacks bombards the area.
"Shit!" Sid yells out as he cancels his invisibility and rapidly erects a shield around himself. As he is blinded by the flames, his barrier shakes.
*BAM!* *BAM!* *BAM!* *BAM!*
Small fissures begin to form on his trusted barrier, as the flames begin to fade away, the pissed-off visage of Yang can be seen standing outside the barrier, whaling away at the offending spell with punch after punch.
His mage armor flares up even more, lightning begins to arc off his body as he accelerates his fists even more, more force is put into his strikes are he boosts his punches by propelling them with flames.
*CRACK* *CRACK* *CRACK*
The barrier begins to falter. Spiderweb cracks spreading from the point his fists meet the defensive magic.
Sid, seeing his barrier about to fall decided to try something new.
"Hey, can't we talk about this, look I'm sorry about blinding you ok!" He nervously says as a sweatdrop can be seen running down his face.
*CRACK* *CRACK* *CRACK*
'This guys a freak, they said he was level 3, this is bullshit!' He thinks to himself, moments before the barrier finally falls.
Yang punches Sid directly in the face, the strike rocks his entire body before it sends him tumbling across the floor. Seeing his opponent vulnerable Yang jumps forward to end him with one quick strike to the head and knock him out.
As he's in mid-air almost 15ft above the ground leaping toward the downed mage something else draws his attention.
"Huah!" Pock exclaims, using his exhausted arms he throws his spear at Yang's back with everything he had. 'If he takes down the other guy, I'm next. I need them to fight each other more' He thinks to himself as his spear soars through the air.
To his horror, his inability to suppress his noise as he tossed the spear ruined his plan. Before his very eyes, Yang turns completely in mid-air using his flames and catches the weapon before it can even hit him.
Turning and catching the weapon Yang's focus is completely removed from the downed mage as he boosts to his left, separating himself from both his opponents before landing.
"That was a cheap move, you know I'm keeping this right," He says as he holds the replica of Spear Rolan for Pock to see before storing it in his inventory.
"Heroes, always win, even if you take their weapon!" Pock valiantly says as he takes out a small dagger.
"Hero?" he sends the Pallum a skeptical look.
"Yes, just like Finn, I'm gonna be a great hero, for all Pallums to look up to!" he says with vigor in his voice, completely betraying his obviously hurt and exhausted state.
"Uh huh, cool, so anyway," Yang casually says before boosting himself directly toward pock.
Dagger vs Fists
Hero vs Elementalist
No Mage Armor, no magic. As Yang tried his best to knock Pock out without hurting him, the weaker adventurers' experience began to show. Slowly he kept backing up as he takes hit after hit from Yang, all for the purpose of making space for Sid. As if they had a silent agreement Sid saw this and began to mutter his chants for his strongest magic.
Yang delivered a strike to Pock's armguard, cracking the bones beneath and giving it a dent not dissimilar to the handprint on the would-be hero's chest plate.
"ARRGH!" Pock cries out in pain, as he drops the dagger. Taking this opportunity Yang kicks him in the chest slamming him into the wall once more.
"Why won't you just go to sleep?" Yang says as he prepares to deliver one final blow.
Meeting his frustrated expression, Pock only grinned. His tired eyes looking past the Elementalist as he sees Sid complete his chant at the other end of the room. Quickly seeing this Pock dashes to his left.
Noticing Pock's intention Yang turns around to the sight of Sid, standing tall, gritting his teeth, and holding anger in his eyes. As the mage finishes his chant, the room fills with magic as winds are created and rush down all the adjoining corridors.
"Shit" Yang thinks as a storm of wind and lightning envelops the entire room. Raising his hands and pushing extra magic into his mage armor he grits his teeth and takes the attack head-on. Feeling his body being pushed back, his back literally against the wall. He raises one more layer of defense before the final portion of the spell hits.
With his feet, up to his ankles buried in the floor. The moment his back touched the wall he forced mana into the floor to erect 2 stone walls using 'Move Earth'. Just in time for the tail end of the attack, a massive lightning bolt to be weakened before slamming into him.
As the dust settles. 2,3 ft walls of melted stone lay before Yang, completely annihilated. Sid stands at the other end of the room hunched over and panting with his hands on his staff to support his weight. A look of complete disbelief in his eyes as he sees that his attack only caused burns on Yang's armor and face. The visibly pissed-off Elementalist now stared at him. His mage armor flaring with more hues of blues flickering in and out of the flames.
Plastered against a far wall of the room, Pock can be seen laying unconscious, quickly enveloped by white light, he disappears from the room and returns to the arena.
"So, teaming up on me?"
"You're kinda, not normal, you do know this right?" He says between his desperate breaths. Questions layered with genuine curiosity.
"Yeah, I get that a lot. So do you wa---"
*PAT* *PAT* *PAT* *PAT* *PAT* *PAT*
"Oh c'mon!" he exclaimed, annoyed at hearing the offending footsteps, a clear sign that his day just got that much worse.
Walking out of the corridor to his left, Elfy Colette emerges, to his right, Van walks out brandishing his sword, glaring directly at Yang.
Outside of the labyrinth, all of the divine mirrors now focus on this final room, all the remaining competitors have arrived to fight for the grand prize. With a wave of his hand, Orcus flares his power, this causes the corridors connecting the final room to the remainder of the labyrinth to begin to close. The finale has really begun.

Have some idea about my story? Comment it and let me know.
---Yeah having a strong reputation might bite you in the ass when all eyes are on you.
---Just realized my dialogue style changed very suddenly in the chapter, I think I prefer this maybe but I'm not sure so I'm sorry if it reverts.
---Yeah Yang was super pissed about the flashbang making his headaches worse.
---Showed some strategy being used, yeah I don't get to do that much with monster fight from the enemy POV
