Lena bit down on the end of the pipe, crunching it slightly under pressure. No, this deal wasn't the one that had been made.

"Hester. I told you I would call them to come along after the fact. Why did you think to bring them along with you right now?" Three additional people left no space for them to hold the meeting in the hospital room, the place that Lena wanted to remain in today. One lousy night flipped everything off kilter once more.
