บท 829: Feelings

The King had been feeling a bit distressed and would like to go into the room, but hearing that the Empress Dowager was asking for him, he was reminded that the Empress Dowager and Honored Princess Jing were going back to the court. Thinking that he still had something to tell them, he nodded.

He was not very familiar with the town. Normally, it was the princesses who visited here, not him. Therefore, Zhu Ying led the way.

He followed her with a serious look on his face.

The King sat down directly as he came to the Empress Dowager.

Normally, he would have asked the Empress Dowager if she had eaten or something like that, but because of what happened to the Queen, the King was holding a grudge towards the Empress Dowager. Therefore, he did not show any of his concern. He could not just give the Empress Dowager the full blame, but he could not simply pretend as if nothing had happened either.
