บท 154: Untouchable Husk

"Did he notice something from yesterday?" Marvel resumed the discussion.

Doctor Plainn shook his head. "I already prepared some answers but yesterday he stayed in the ward all day, reading some books."

Hearing that, Marvel was relieved. The reason he told his people to clean all the mess as quickly as they could in Doctor Plainn's house was because he didn't want to make Angelo worried.

"So, what are your thoughts?" On a more serious note, the doctor asked.

"The government," Marvel threw a quick guess yet was sure enough of it. "They found out about Angelo still alive and wanted him dead."

Just now, it explained why Marvel was reacting that way toward the invaders yesterday. Even though he failed the interrogation because his mind was a bit clouded by his emotions which made him lose his temper, he could tell it was the government's doing from the way the two agents worked and responded to each situation.
